Four Miata, Two Months, 10,000 miles
#63
Made it to Amarillo, Tx last night after a failed attempt to camp at Lake Meredith. I was the only person for 10 miles and there were big cat tracks at the camp site. Total of about 750 miles driven, burned .5 quarts which is on par for high mileage running synthetic. On to the Grand Canyon today.

Got this done today.
It drives so much different now, body roll is huge. I can hit speed bumps at full speed which is nice. This whole process is weird to me, opposite of what I'm used to doing. I installed 4 Sensen shocks, MCU bump stops trimmed to 1 3/4 inch, shock boots, greased sways and suspension bolts, put on those 195/60r15 winter force st2 tires. Removed the r package lip and LE tie rods. It does ride very smooth. Next project is a skid plate and mud flaps.
