Heitzke's wildly deviating NA project
Long initial post/thread - I need to document this stuff somewhere and have fun with it again.
Just so the thread isn't SO boring, here's where the car is right now and then i'll backtrack through all the really shitty stuff. Current situation: '90 NA Factory optioned no abs/ps/ac Engine: Like, so super sweet ass stock Suspension: Fat cat motorsports coilovers, 550/450 w/ spherical top mounts RB front/rear sways (Idk, came with the rear) RB sway blocks 949 front endlinks Chassis: BBFW single diagonal (love this thing) Wheels: 16x9.5 CCW LM5T 245/30/16 T1R 949 lugs Interior: Momo prototipo ? that's it https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...4f4170a127.jpg Ok then let's go through some stupid stuff. I decided to go ahead and skip all the lifted miata phase - it was really good fun but not that interesting anymore.

I started with just the faces and slow collected all the stuff I needed. Barely saved any money, but I learned a lot so it netted out ok https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...5cfc437c2d.jpg Initial test fits - measured to 16x9.5 and the offset I had calculated to be +8, but I don't actually know what it ended up being. Christ-almighty what a lot of work it was and really turned out mediocre TBH. I thinned rustoleum enamel and did one of the 'famous' roll-on paint jobs. It took a shit load of time and maybe it would turn out better if I did one again totally from scratch.
