Oh, pretty!

After Martin (greddygalant) absolutely destroyed me in his 300hp FWD Galant, I seriously want boost. But that's not happening for a LONG time. Maintenance, debt, house, and babies come first. So probably no boost.

Hypothetically it's going to happen eventually.

Lol, I get it, you posted my mom last night. WITH YOUR POST.

In other news, I fixed a few issues this morning. First was a broken seat. Martin and I went on some back roads yesterday, and during it's first doughnut under my ownership, the driver seat back promptly collapsed. Found a sheared pivot bolt. Drilling out was fruitless, especially after breaking a drill bit. Luckily this morning I found the tip of the drill had fallen out, and I was able to drill the m6x1 hole out for a m8x1.25 bolt. Problem solved.

I also reconditioned a few plastic bits there were bugging me, including the piece behind the door and the softop handle. Drastic difference between old and new.

Thanks Rev, it's a hoot so far. I just finished browsing through Bucky's thread actually. If it weren't for the busted motor mounts, shift boot holes, brown radiator, leaking front main, sloppy diff mounts, and need for an alignment, I'd probably be looking more closely at gauges, stripes, and of course RPF-1s

Also, someone needs to come up with a PNP solution for an AUX in on the stock Bose stereo for me.

Why do you want to keep the stock bose?

What plastic reconditioner did you use?

I've been wondering about this on my own car. Presuming that the aux connector on the head unit is the same between the Bose units and the good ones, it should (in theory) be a simple matter to figure out where the audio from the dealer-optional cassette / minidisc module goes, and fool the head unit into thinking that said unit is present.

I've ordered a complete wiring diagram book for my '04, which I should be receiving within a week or so.

I did the AUX in mod like 3 years ago. Not exactly PnP but not hard either. I used a female plug though, instead of a male plug thats shown in the picture. MX-5 Miata Forum

Funny you should mention motor mounts. I did Bucky's a couple weekends ago. What an unpleasant job. I shoulda pulled the engine. It would have been more work to burp the radiator, but it would have taken about half the time.

You're saying it'll be easier if I remove the radiator?
