11" under 15x7 Dial In wheel. I know it is crappy, but I will take better ones tonight. I think I had like 0.200" clearance to the rim radially and a ton of room to the spokes. On the NB wheel I only had about 1/8" clearance to the spokes and about the same radially.

In my notes I had that I was looking at 07-12 Mini and Mini S rotors and that they were all 22mm thick.

The rotors I had in my hands were not directional, same part for left and right. If you are looking for custom aftermarket directional rotors you will be close to Willwood prices.

Outside of bigger disk. Sorry, it's only 1/4" wide. Sorry, bad terminology and bad 5 pm brain.

Would prefer directional if they are a stock option or something, but yea, not getting crazy with rotors.

Another guess would that the actual internal thickness of the rotor might be more, as in shorter vanes. More thermal capacity, but less rejection.

From some quick searching it seems you get directional with cheap drilled and slotted rotors, like the ones I have here...

I guess stock rotors are all unidirectional though.

I will never have a drilled rotor on any of my cars

So 11" setup:

Calipers- $204.54 shipped
Willwood Brakes 120 6806 Caliper Forged Dynalite | eBay
If these dont hang around GWR is $208.32 to me

Rotors- Literally as cheap as $17 shipped for a pair on ebay. lets just call it $50 to be fair. no links needed.

Brackets- Cost of material, $20 at most if we used something expensive like 7075

Centering rings- Cost of material, I have this hanging around. free for sean

Misc hardware- $20 maybe

Lines- who sells these unicorns separately?

Not including pads as they are purchased no matter what setup your running. most track pads are over $100 whether stock or wilwood fitment.

So under $300 + lines and some labor for me.

And the beauty is if we ever exceed the setup and need more, we would just need hats, frictions, and make some more brackets.

Brackets: Relte found that 6061(?) is the right material. 7075 has heat treating or something that might get messed with. Read here

Lines: I'll take care of these. Local hydraulic shop does everything we ever need. 1/8NPT male on the caliper end and ???? on the car end? Length?

DTC-60 pads are $70 in the 7112 fitment. I have a local hookup for them too, so we'll talk about that.

There's this, I might try and find cheaper later. Probs not worth it, this is pretty decent.

Well, technically neither of the alloys you typed out would be heat treated, and both of the alloys that you meant to say would be heat treated.

6061-t4
6061-t6
6061-t651

7075-t6
7075-t651
7075-t7

Having said that im not a metallurgist and maybe 7075 doesnt take cyclical fatigue like 6061 does. dunno

Car end is an automotive specific flare fitting to fit the frame bracket. Any hydraulic line shop familiar with automotive should be able to handle that. Make sure you bring them an example. Not sure on length, someone with a BBK hopefully can answer that.

Yup 1/8-27 npt. Thems the ones we need, didnt look hard enough.

You could also get 2 metric flare to NPT (F) adapters for like $7, and some NPT-NPT brake lines from speedway(circle track dudes FTW) for about $7 each. So about $21...... but shipping adds.

The car side isn't metric flare, it's m10x1 with a crush washer IIRC.

I'm gonna order some calipers later tonight, I want in on these cheapness before they get away lol

I've got some 6063 here that ought to work fine, I need to go look at pictures again.

Another one of my ******* assumptions lol

Was just on speedways website, those lines only come in AN anyway, not sure why I thought NPT. Theyve gone up in price a little too, and with the adapters figured in $$ wise and with the added failure points, the 949 lines just make sense.

For reference anyway, these are great for all kinds of thing

Yes, all of the 1.8 cars had a 0.6 gallon larger fuel tank than the 1.6 cars.
