Nothing too fancy...

1.9L with VVT, JE pistons, Pauter rods, BE oil pump
Garrett 3076, 29psi
Tial EWG and BOV
Custom 80mm exhaust
Individual port WI with Snow Performance S3 controller and SafeInjection module
MS2 standalone ECU, 3bar MAP, EBC, VVT Controller
Fuel Injector Clinic 1150cc injectors, Mtuned fuel rail, AEM FPR
RX-7 FD gearbox

I will be doing the tuning.

Should be somewhat pleasant to drive I guess.

I would say this is far from low budget but will be super sweet no matter what.

18psi 07-05-2011 11:32 AM

29psi? You guys take the term "RUN ALL OF IT" really seriously don't you?
Good stuff:)

But it has a low budget, sub-par ECU and all?!?!

:bowrofl:

Yeah, 29psi, we are definately not turning up the boost more than that before we break in the engine.

18psi 07-05-2011 11:51 AM

I don't think a 3076 will even go much higher than mid 30's...could be wrong

falcon 07-05-2011 01:11 PM

More info on the gearbox pls!. I have one sitting in my garage from my old FD days and I was always thinking about fitting it into the NA. Once I get to the 300whp mark, I know my 5spd will not be up to par.

Sean 07-05-2011 02:22 PM

I would not trust expect the 3076 to get you much past 29 at the most. At that point they just blow hot air nothing more. Ask Faeflora he will tell you. On his motor it fell on its face at 26 lbs. so you may want a little bigger turbo.

Reverant 07-05-2011 02:26 PM

I was just kidding when I said more than 29psi. We will probably stick at 26psi for daily use and only turn it up to 29psi on the dyno just for kicks. We got 400rwhp at 26psi from a 1.6 with the same turbo, so it should be ok at 28-29.

Sean 07-05-2011 02:31 PM

Ok that is better I thought you were really gonna push it past 29 psi. Not saying it can't be done but its like running the stock turbo on my girlfriends jetta at 24 psi. Why? just get a bigger one.lol

Zaphod 07-05-2011 02:43 PM

Now that is some nice news from Greece finally.... 29 PSI :eek5:

shlammed 07-05-2011 03:44 PM

The GTX 3076R would love life above 29psi.

Still should make some legit power!

More detailed pics of the transmission to PPF connection?

Sick. Like it. More pics please.

Reverant 07-08-2011 02:15 AM

265cc to fire her up and do the first few miles, then Fuel Injector Clinic 1150cc at 46psi fuel pressure.

Got this to the dyno today. Got 425hp, 370tq (omg the torque).

Then once back in the shop, I realized that the system was out of water for the WI, and the ECU had retarded the ignition 5* once in boost because of it (FUUUUUUUUU). It would have made another 30-60hp and 20-30tq with the ignition figures in the right place. :vash:
