See thats the thing. I was for sure going to do a black hood with pretty much any other color but this color just seems like it should be on the hood as well. This is why I am thinking about doing a matte clear over that color on the hood. It would be a nice contrast I think

I went to a Subaru dealer today and saw that blue color in person. Its too purple and pretty blah so basically what im going to do is pick 4 colors, write doen the paint codes and give the paper to the paint mixer at the paint shop and let him randomly pick a color. I will not know what color my car will be until the moment im ready to paint it.

Tail light progress
i still have more sanding, spot filling, priming, more sanding after that and then I have to put in the mounting hardware. I am loving these things so far.

Ryan (gdnimrod) has been working on getting my new control arms in. The drivers side upper and lower control arms were so ridiculously bent that my castor was so messed up. Up next is putting in the lower control arm, installing poly bushings, new brake rotors, rebuilding my MSM calipers and installing them and then putting in SS brake lines.

for all intensive purposes and to be way less messy, a low expansion foam would be better than a high expansion foam.
not sure what was used but low expansion would let you do it faster and not worry about needing to do multiple layers since you can pretty much just fill it right out from the get go.

Surely you could choose your paint color in a more dramatic fashion.
