Default My 02SE Build

I bought this 2002 SE miata 5 months ago with 42k on it. It now has 49k and been to 5 auto x events. Well the was all stock expect for a racing beat intake and style bar. I added a front air damm, large side skirts, and the small mud guards. Also added Mazda comp motor mounts and changed all the fluid to synthetic Here are some pictures of how the car sits now.

The next step for mods is the suspension. I have already ordered 6ul 15x8 in matte bronze and Bridgestone RE-11s 205/50/15. Next week I will be getting the FCM coilovers the fixed damping ones. I also have a FM front sway bar and 949racing end links on the way

Your pictures aren't working for some reason, I tried to mess with the linking but couldn't figure it out. Not sure why the IMG tags don't like the me.com links.

The sway bar is not going on in till the whole setup is ready. So coilovers, rims and tires will be installed at the same time. The rear sway will remain stock.

From all the reading and the guys at the auto-x track they run stock rear sway or the stock disconnected. I was going to get the FM front and rear but everybody told me to stay away from a bigger rear sway. From what I understand a good alignment goes along when using this sway bar setup. I guess time will tell lol

I ran autox using different sway bar combinations and raced without a rear sway bar. The back end stuck to the point where it would hook up and lift the inside front tire during hard cornering. Corner workers were telling me that the front wheel floated. I ended up with a RB front sway and the stock sport package rear bar for the track.
