Are you riding the clutch pedal? Did you have slave/fork foreplay after install?

No, i don't ride the clutch. Clutch pedal was also properly adjusted.

18psi can comment about the foreplay.

FM said the tob might have been faulty, it doesn't spin easily right now.

Does the damage look consistent with a TOB that isn't spinning well?

that would make sense.
usually there's wear marks on most of them, but they're never grooved or deep.

Your order from OG Racing has shipped!
Aaaaah, I have to wait! ETA 5/26 by end of day.

In preparation for the novec kit, I've purchased cable tie saddle mounts, tubing cutter, thomas and betts cable ties, small, short screws, and a tubing bender.

Received a few items today...

drill and other stuff for the 1/4 npt tap, adding a breather on the exhaust side catch can, we'll see what happens lol

the screws and cable tie blocks I ordered ended up the wrong sizes. Screws are too short, and the width of the cradle on the blocks is about 1/8inch too wide for the aluminum tubing the SPA Extreme SFI 5 fire kit comes with. Tubing turned out to be 5/16 if anyone needs to know that.

The 5 pound canister system has been tested to function properly with three nozzles, so that's what I got. Two nozzles in the top corners of the engine bay, aimed diagonally across engine, and one nozzle in the cabin facing the occupants. I'm thinking of mounting that nozzle on the passenger side trans tunnel area, just above the canister. The canister is supposed to be mounted parallel to the trans tunnel, but perpendicular to it in front of the passenger seat is fine too.

Stay tuned, tomorrow I'm expecting the racing apparel/gear... so I'll be taking a couple really silly photos in full garb.

The good:

Just found out JO Motorsports will be cryo treating the gears in my transmission! What a nice surprise!

The bad:

There has been a great deal of issues with UPS Freight. I urge everyone to avoid using UPS freight.

I've been slowly emailing back and forth with Guardian Designs about a modified steering wheel. I would really like a smaller diameter wheel, OEM quality, maintaining an airbag.

They offer rewrapped, D shaped, and 0 shape wheels. I didn't think a D shape would give me enough leg room if the wheel was turned, maybe I'm wrong.... either way, they will be discussing taking on making a completely custom wheel, using two steering wheel cores.

If they decide not to take on that project, I'll just go with a D shape. Here is an example, I would be going with the perforated napa leather all the way around, the two different textures isn't appealing to me.

I knew you'd like it!

The gloves are like a second skin, very perfect fit, hopefully will get a bit more comfortable with wear.

Shoes fit perfectly on my left foot, but my right, which is a bit bigger, hits my toes a bit. It shouldn't be that big of a deal if I cut my toenails really short.

Hans is weird, but i guess it fits ok, doesn't restrict head movement AT ALL... not sure if that is a good thing.

nomex socks were much thinner than i expected...

Suit fits well, but is warmer than I expected. I was still over heating in 60 degree weather with wind... I'm a warm boy... I'll have to look into ice shirts or whatever they call them

Updates...
Transmission is STILL stuck at the UPS Freight Hub. They won't release it to JO Motorsports. It's been two weeks at their hub.

NEVER USE UPS FREIGHT! I have had enormous difficulty at every step of the shipping process with them.

GuardianDesigns got back to me about a smaller diameter wheel, they say that they can't invest the R&D to provide a safe product, so they just recommend the D shape wheel for me.

UPS FREIGHT FINALLY RELEASED MY TRANSMISSION!!!!

Jason of JO Motorsports will begin my transmission, and thanks to UPS Freight, which none of you should ever use, only 3 weeks late.
