All parts are here except the BEGi FMU, and a heat shield that managed to jump out of the box before shipping. But the FMU will be here by time I get my hoses from Hose Techniques. So as planed the car will hit the jack stands this weekend. P/S, A/C, and the dash will all come out. I will be sure to post lots of pictures, including my craptacular welding skills with the mig. But first a funeral in the morning, then Miata work time.

Manifold installed, A/C removed, P/S removed, turbo hung for fittment check. Got a FM silicone lower rad hose to eliminate the lower pipe. After I lobbed 3" off the engine side it fits perfect. BTW I was tired when I took this pic, I will post a better one tomorrow.

I like to make things difficult for my self. Give my self a challenge. Then after I cuss and swear and set the car on fire I will buy the MS.

Acutually I am going off of Corky's recomendations, for a 8 psi car. I have my spare block, and maybe when I get motivated I will build a turbo motor, and shoot for higher boost goals.

And thanks for the offer. Right now everthing is going smoothly, cept the wrong fitting the hose shop sold me. Today I will fab up the down pipe, intercooler bracket, and intercooler plumbing (I hope).

Got my SGDP built, muffler shop told me to leave the flange off, that he would take care of it for me.

Following Joe's intercooler install I built a simular mount. But instead of using 2" angle iron I had some 16 gage steel C chanelled.

I still have the Walbro, Bipes, and o2 Clamp to install. But I did start it to see if there were any oil or coolant leaks at idle. When started it was hunting real bad and wouldn't idle for crap. Finally I gave up and went inside for the evening. As I was writting my list of things to ask Stephanie it hit me. In my rush to start the car I left a gaping intake leak between the MAF and the Turbo, I left all the breathers disconnected because I broke the PCV on accident

Oooops.

In this picture you can kinda see the HKS SSBOV under the rad hose. Also I changed out the WG plumbing to 1/4 brake tubing, and you can see the mount for the K&N air cleaner. I guess it is not done yet, I still need to hook up the cold air intake to the filter.

The muffler shop did a nice job of installing the 2.5" exhaust using the mandrel bent pipe I supplied him with. The muffler is a Magnaflow race series muffler. The car is no louder than it was with the RB power pulse. Nice and stealthy.

I think I have some less-ricey plumbing we can replace that tubing with.

I think we can work something better out with the inlet location too. Overall looks good man.

I could have picked up some push lock at the hose shop, but money was running tight LOL

move the filter between the master and fender....why source extremely hot air, when you can source only hot air?

Tried to do that originally, I wanted to use the cowl intake hole. But that K&N can is 7.5" at its widest point and it doesn't fit. I have another section of black aluminum tubing coming. That will hook up to the intake side of the air cleaner then go over the rad to draw air. It will basically be a simular design to JRs cold air box.
