^ I think this is the day I decided to redo the setup

Yeah I got the AC bracket off. That thing looked like a single piece of rust.

Ah ok, nice, glad I could of helped. I remember we were shaking the down pipe and the rest of the exhaust and discovered that it was way too loose (and rattles) for your liking.

Time can't move any slower. I can't wait for this to arrive. After all this I'll still have to go and get my IC pipes made. Still not sure if I'm going close up the fender and go another route, or use the same one.

Only 1 hour is separating me from my box of scrap metal. Had it shipped to the US/Canada border. Cannot wait!

Just got back from Buffalo with my presents. I had the FM 2.5" exhaust previously and thought it was a good quality product. This stuff from Abe/ARTech is so beyond anything I expected. I also can't believe how massive 3" is () pics certainly do not do it justice.

I also picked up my new FM oil cooler kit today. I never monitored oil temp before, but it won't hurt to have this.

It was a bit boring refreshing FedEx yesterday with no update, so I went and DIY tinted my side windows. I was surprised at how easy it was to do. Beginners luck I suppose.

Check back tomorrow for pics of parts and/or completed installation. I'm still waiting for my turbine bolts to come back from Tim. So close, the anticipation is too much.

Here are some phone pics

Got a couple cellphone pics. I'm a bit tired after doing the run for the border and back right after work, otherwise it would already be in. I also had to go back to work to pick up my forgotten burrito, which added another 31 miles.

lol yeah, someone got me a burrito for lunch which I didn't eat. I won't be in the office for a few days and didn't want it to go to waste. Hey, up here not every street corner has a mexican food stand...donuts and coffee, yes

I forgot to order an exhaust mani gasket from Mazda, damn. So many little things, I should have made a list.

I had a slight leak from my manifold last year, not sure if there is a crease/kink in the gasket or not, I'll have to check it tomorrow if I still have it around.

Who knew 6 bolts would hold things up How many drill bits did you go through doing them?

let me know if you need the 949 stickers for those center caps. I think I have some left over.

lol, creative. I could use some stickers for the centre caps actually, I'll PM you.

First off, can someone tell me what this bolt is used for that my dump tube is connected to? It is about 10" long and required a substantial amount of torque to break it free considering it's size.

You'd think Murphy's law would not apply to an exhaust made specifically for your car....right. Exhaust work is still my least favourite. It took me forever to get things lined up and still doesn't seem quite right. I'm starting to wonder if my car was ever tweaked. Not sure if my wastegate tube is supposed to be so cramped, I'll have to check with Abe. I still have to put the turbo together when the bolts get here, hopefully it's a bit easier to put it back in now that most of the other exhaust parts are in. I had to cut off two pieces of the rear factory bracing which Abe's '99-00 chassis didn't have. I'll have to cut up the front one a bit more once everything is bolted tight. I'm really liking the location of the turbo with the low mount, it's really compact and out of the way.
