So does anyone know if the GM 3 bar MAP sensor a known wear item? I ordered 2 to keep one on standby.

No, they are not, provided that the sensor does not sit lower than the manifold source it is connected to, and that is is facing downwards.

Thanks. Mine was sitting lower than the reference port and facing horizontal. I'll make sure the next one is not the same.

Water can get in it and feaflora it up.

If you don't want to move your MS, just put some loops in your MAP line.
