Default My turbo-less widebody '94

I think it's about time I've started a thread for this particular vehicle.

It started it's life as a base model '94 with A/C and no P/S. I bought it as a beater daily driver but ended up keeping just this car. It came with carbon fiber fender flares, KYB AGX w/ H&R springs, RB front and rear sway bars, and a style bar:

After some time I bought a '04 MSM which became my daily and I've started working on this car.

This is what it looked like after body shop was done with it:

Skip a month, I found some time to install the Dapper Lighting 7 Inch Classic V2 Projector Kit:

Skip another couple of months, I've installed Feal 441 coilovers, Wilwood 11" front brakes and M-tuned rear brakes with Carbotech XP-8 all around.

Current list of modifications:
  • AK blister fenders and quarter panels (+30mm I believe)
  • Boss Frog frame rails
  • Garage Star fender braces (not installed)
  • Beatrush PPF brace (not installed)
  • Feal 441 8/6
  • Racing Beat tubular front and solid rear sway bars
  • FM blueprinted front hubs, eBay rear hubs with Timken bearings, ARP studs
  • Wilwood 11" front brakes w/ XP8
  • M-Tuned rear brakes w/ XP8
  • eBay header, FM high-flow cat, modified eBay catback
  • Racing Beat intake
  • Mishimoto radiator with shroud and slim fans, NB lower hose
  • Momo (possibly fake) 350mm steering wheel
  • eBay short throw with MiataRoadster tall angled extension and MiataRoadster delrin shift ****
  • Kenwood Stereo
  • DDMWorks stereo mount
  • Power windows
  • Blackbird Fabworx single diagonal roll bar
  • 15x9 6UL with 225 BFG Rivals for street using spacers

These waiting to be installed:
  • Garage Star fender braces
  • Beatrush PPF brace
  • Depower steering
  • FM level 1 clutch & 10 lbs flywheel
  • Setrab oil cooler with Mocal adapter
  • ES poly bushings
  • 245 Hoosier R6 (waiting on JB 15x10... )
  • 245 Hoosier R80 on 15x10 6UL

These planned for the future:
  • Stock VVT motor w/ squaretop
  • MSLabs Megasquirt
  • EV14 injectors
  • Dual feed fuel rail (have one laying around)
  • Blackbird Fabworx 3/4 cage or 6 point bar
  • NA6 dashboard

I'll take the clutch and flywheel.

You want me to move this to the correct section?

Ooo, I'll take those 6ULs!

Looks good though. How good are those headlights? I've seen their website just haven't seen many user reviews.

I still need to hook up angel eyes, but it's not so high on a priority list for now. They are damn good though. I've got the 5K version and I can see clearly everywhere. Cutoff is good, high beams are just awesome.

Shitty ones that I'm not going to run on the track. I'm waiting for some 20mm hubcentric spacers right now. Will run those if they come on time.

Get the bronze 15x8 6ULs instead so I can buy them off you later.

Good luck!

Nobody ever suspects that it's widebody. I like that. Do I need a spare trunk lid if I want an APR wing for track or is there a way to make it detachable without creating an aqueduct in my trunk?

Nice man, looks proper. What widebody is that?

Edit: just re-read: AK blister fenders and quarter panels (+30mm I believe)

Those are awesome, i had no idea AK made body parts that didn't look completely outlandish.

Body shop guys spent several days blending everything in and making it all fit together. Fitment was far from perfect but they made it work

Looks yummy. I dislike fender flares a good bit but a widebody looks killer. Can we get a centered, bumper level pic of the front and rear? Want to see the fatness!
