Friday Wonton Sean and I drove up to Panic Motorsports in SC to get the parts I needed to start my interior swap. Steve is a great guy to do business with and the drive was well worth it.
This is what we saw when we pulled up, so we knew we made it to the right place:
To the project at hand, I wasn't satisfied with the tan interior and I don't enjoy leather in a convertible. I'm also not a big fan of chrome and wood accents on the interior. I already had black floormats and center console, so things were looking a little mismatched. Here's the before pictures:
Today I picked up a set of MSM door panels to complete the swap, there's some modification required for the interior release handles and door locks, but nothing too hard to do. Here's the results:
Notice in the before pictures you can see that there was a wood piece adhered to the OEM shifter surround. When I took that off there was hardened residue from the adhesive that wouldn't come off, even with a razor. So I sanded it smooth and wrapped it with some Neffy Wrap:
I also got the windows tinted (38 on the sides and 18 on the rear glass, nothing extreme) and installed my CF mirrors week before last:
Figure for now I'll get an MSM pedal set, a Momo steering wheel, and the M2 HCHTDD roll bar I want (to replace the Brainstorm Solo I that's currently installed) and then start saving for the LS swap.

lol Jared, go work on your car!
Yeah, for about 1 second. lol I really didn't want to go overboard with the stuff and most people haven't even noticed it until it was pointed out.
They're not for everyone it seems. I'm rocking it because it came with the car and I like it. I've actually been considering moving to the OEM 01+ bumper with an MSM lip and 01+ headlights, but that idea is secondary to the LS swap.
Thanks! That's because it just got installed over the weekend. lol
Thanks!

Just some quick pics to show off the the mirrors and recent window tinting against the rest of the car. I installed my old Revlight and a recently acquired ScanGauge II, which is actually a neat little tool. I unexpectedly received a set of larger brakes so those will be going on ASAP.
