How did you mount your Pi? It looks like two strips (of aluminium?) between the mounting screws on the back of the display down to the two screws behind the tombstone that hold the metal bracket that the tombstone mounts to with screws in the eyeball vents. Am I close? I are you happy with how sturdy it is?

thanks in advance

You nailed it. It happens to align perfectly with the screw holes of the dash surround where eye vents go. I just used slightly longer screws and it's incredibly sturdy. I haven't touched it since installing it.

Thanks for that, did you have to trim the dash pad edge or the tombstone?

I didnt have the modify the dash pad. I took a file to the tombstone just the take it back a millimeter or two. Just to take pressure off of it. I should be able to take it off and not have the modifications be noticeable.
