More usless than the NB1 cup holder, what have no back wall to it so your brinks do backflips under mild acceleration? lol

levnubhin 09-14-2010 12:17 PM

Both are useless, so I'd rather just have the extra console space.

I think the chrome/silver shit inside works perfectly, not to much but just enough to look nice. I would have chosen a different knob for the shifter, but that's just my opinion.

Cars looking good, i like that every time I come into your thread its changed ever so slightly, in a good way.

Thanks man, I've got several shift knobs that I'm trying out. That one is by far the most comfortable and it doesn't get hot. I really like the skunk shifter that came with the car but I when it's on without the extension the shift pattern at the top is sideways and that annoys me. It also gets very hot.

Got the windows tinted on Friday. I still haven't given her a bath since taking ownership and she needs it bad.

I ordered some fog light bezels like these. I think it will look good with them. I'm also thinking about painting the Gv lip and continuing the stripe on it. What say you? I might also add some front splash guards.

Your car is looking better rapidly. Keep it up.

Full_Tilt_Boogie 09-14-2010 01:36 PM

I love that skunk2 knob. Nice size and weight.
The extention was a bit clubroadsterish but it kept me from punching my charger in the cigarette lighter when I went into 5th gear

leatherface24 09-14-2010 01:38 PM

No, just a 5% strip across the top and 20% on the doors. That with black interior makes it very dark.

how tall are you?

i would not be able to see at all with a windsheild banner. (even the sun shades get in the way.

Im a fan of the un-painted lip... it gives it a little contrast (and trust me you dont want it painted with the amount of bugs, road grime and stones that will be hitting it)

levnubhin 09-15-2010 09:54 AM

Im glad I didnt bother putting the radiator back to its stock location, since youre running your charge pipes like I did.
I think using the 90 degree couplers there is wise because they wont rub the radiator too bad. I was always worried it would put a hole in the end take.

Also,
RETURN OF THE BUCK TEEF!

I'm glad you did too. I always liked the over the rad set-up. I also think it would have been more work to put the rad back to its stock location then it would ave been to just replicate what you had.

Yah I painted mine flat black, the buck teeth looked silly, also with that exhaust it was hella sleeper.

Faeflora 10-05-2010 08:31 PM

Bah, you only need one toof.

Here here for small intercoolers. Now run WI with it for super duper power. I wonder what the ricer way to run WI is?

Me too, but there aren't a whole lot of options for an over the rad set-up. Once it's painted black you wont even really see it.

I think my original one was about as large as you can fit in there without needing to cut/bend/modify stuff
