I had to search Racelands, never heard of them before. lacerands?

I love the budg builds, but I think I would do some used bilsteins and used or ebay coilover sleeves. If anyone gives a **** what I would do.

Hence the budget build, house, 2010 Genesis coupe, 2 kids, wife...I'm stretched thin.

That will be the next evolution. In fact these might not ever leave my table. I really would like to run them, but If I can trade this kid in towm for his Bilsteins thats whats gonna happen.

Cleaned the barrels on all of the control arms, mineral spirited all the trash and crud off of them, wire wheeled the surface rust off, wiped em down, hit them with Satin black, pressed in new bushings.

Is the ultrashield the spec miata model? Do you have more pics of it? How is it to sit in?

he bought the "rally sport" model. i think that's what it was called. it's the same price as the spec miata, but looks nicer i think. i searched the entire internet for the best price on a spec miata seat, and nobody beats sps solotime. that's where jake bought this one. in some cases it's almost $100 cheaper than another website.

Do it. Pass that cheap ricer garbage onto some dumb schmuck who wouldn't know the difference between blown stock shocks on cut springs and his *** hole.

I'd be willing to bet that people who buy Rincelands and think they'll "ride good: are also the same peckerheads who would sucker for the eBay power-adding fuel-saving "chips" for only $69.95

Traded the Raceland coilovers for these Bilsteins! Now for a revalve and 700/450's.

Niiice. Be aware that if you send them to Shaikh give yourself plenty of lead-time. For me waiting on my coilovers is no big deal, as it's a winter project and I ordered them very early. I think you'll be pleased with your decision.

I would love to send them to Shaikh but his pricing is on the tip of the steep side. I can have Bilstein revalve them for 300 or there are many spec miata shops that will do it for somewhere around 200. I will probably run his bumpstops ans ICS top hats. It will be something like RB tubular, bilsteins, awr collars, qa1 springs 700/450, isc top hats, fatcat bumpstops...still playing with the FCM calculator.

I like. I am going to be running a 550/350, so the roll couple will be almost identical. I have an RB tubular 1 1/8" on it's way. This is a brilliant build. I assume no turbo? No biggie, your reliability will be 100% with this setup. You will be sipping virgin maries between sessions, and can let your harem feed you figs.

I think for the future, this with either high cr, or just a header and MS, tuned up like an ITA Miata. MMMMmmoneyy.

I'm going back and forth between a budget diy wrx turbo kit build or something like what the OGK car has...idk? Honestly the more I think about it the more a NA setup sounds fun. If I get it to 140-50ish wheel and decide I'm not happy I can always add an old JR supercharger plus meth for a g...to many options

Forgetting all about the hysteria (not to say it's unfounded), but I think that something like OGK, Keith Tanner's Targa, a high-comp prod-like beast, or even JUST A STOCK HEALTHY MOTOR WITH HEADER, ECU, INTAKE, LIGHT FLYWHEEL AND SOME HEAVIER VALVE SPRINGS sounds like a really fun package (think ITA Miata). Especially if you can add in a fuckingawesome suspension setup, a good sized tire, and maybe tinker with a little aero. For a track-only car and a great driver with some commitment, you could be at or near SM track records. For a car like mine, which I want to drive on the street, autocross, and do track days, the fun of the turbo is very hard to beat.

Burnt out the diff bushings

sawzalled out the metal inserts

pressed in the MMR mounts

traded some pos axels off a 1.6 for these rebuilt 1.8's

borrowed this from spoolin2bars

and did this

Got these for Christmas from the smokin hott wife

Got these to put on the 6UL's, some RA1's with about 3/32 left.

and a random tool box shot because I love my box.

Also bought a hardtop shell for 400 which will get lexan rear window and spec miata hard mounts. Also picked up these with some buddies so we can all scale/cross/corner balance the cars.

What's your secret to getting 6ULs from smoking hot wife for Christmas?
