So I'm a long time Miata fan and a long time lurker. Decided to make a username just for this build.

Hopefully if/when I come upon something I don't know you magnificence people can help me out.

Long term plans for this build are MS3 Begi turbo, but for now I'd love to just have it together.

Ratti is a 95 M edition with hardly anything actually attached.

 

Day 1 arrival at it temporary storage facility. That blue box has every wiring harness the car has in it.. Plus a few

Literally nothing is fully attached to the car at this point minus a side marker or two. The sub frame was just snugged onto the car so I could get it on the liftback.



All the parts have come in boxes and it's my job to make sense of it all.. I bought a complete car.. Just not a completely together car.

 

Minor update: Looked inside the gas tank to find this disgusting mess.

Found a new tank on Craigslist for $20!


Installed FM frame rails while it was easy

(coffee can I used to balance the subframe while putting it back onto the car after installing the new tank.)


Painted a spare 1.8 valve cover for the car (if you look behind there is a 1.6 I was planning on using for my daily.


Installed wiring harnesses and bottom carpet.

Anyone have an idea what this plug goes to? There is one behind each seat.

 

One behind each seat? Headrest speakers maybe?

Looks like a cool build man, love the merlot and I'd rock those wheels too.
