Raw Performance Racing Products (Gotpsi?) build
Well I went to buttonwillow last weekend, heard a pop and guess what? low compression on #2 and 80% leak down. Bummer. So I thought I would start a build thread. I have another build for a customer I have to get out of the way first but Ill start tearing it down soon and decide whats going to happen with it. I do have a LS1 sitting in front of the car right now that is tempting me but I would like to keep a turbo miata, we will see. Im looking at a few Evo's and Sti's right now for a street/ wife track car so maybe I"ll put up some pics of the build for that car in as well. So be look for my wife driving that one at the track when you see my car back out there.

It really depends on how much I have to fix on my current motor, my scope showed no damage to the pistons and I was not leaking by the valves so that leaves me with rings, considering when my cas failed and sent the wrong rpm signal to my ms who knows what was going on with the timing or how much fuel I was getting for that split second. O and did I mention that my Holset is dead as well, compressor wheel eat the housing.

Just a little up date, "no pics yet" I tore something in my ankle and have not been able to do to much. but My engine is out and I have a meeting today about leasing a new shop! So hopefully I can put up some pics of that soon. I sold the original prototype intake off of my car to Falcon, so get ready for the new Itb/turbo set up on the new motor, as well as solid lifter set up thanks to Falcons info. Tear down will be next Friday.

No real updates on the car yet, I still cant walk on my own so my track car will have to wait. "especially because I cant drive it". Customers come first and I'm slow going still, however I finally after a year got things finalized for a new shop and move in this weekend. Once things are up and going I may do a BBq for norcal folks or anyone that wants to come and check out our latest resto mod project for a customer from Massachusetts.

I keeping the cams for now, I still have not been able to get my engine apart to determine if its worth saving or not. If I do part out some of the turbo stuff I will announce it here before I start a part out thread, but it would only be for 1.6 stuff and maybe my MS because it would be useless with an LS motor swap, I already had to sell my intake off the car because I couldn't build one so Falcon has that one, you can see his dyno in his latest thread. His torque and HP keeps climbing past 8K!
