Could you tell us about the launch? How much rpm can you get foot braking at the start? Any significant wheel spin?

Im just doing a burnout in second gear and i brake boost it till i feel the front pushing no real wheel spin it scuffed a few times but all up it hooks and launches there were people video-ing at the track so hopefully there may be videos coming

With your mph, the most optimal 60' times would be in the 1.4 range, but it takes pretty much a perfect setup. So I say you are doing pretty good. This is when a transmission brake would really help you.
I have my doubts anyone has gone as fast as you with the turbo size you are using. That right there is bad ass. |
Id hate to think of what i need to change to get a 1.4 maybe i strip weight. Im not really sure at the moment

Health check
i just comp tested all cylinders within all within 5 psi and check my catch can after 6 or 7 runs and a big drive home on the freeway about 3 or 4 cold starts it only had 120mm 20mm of that looks to be water which i think is good.
my only issue and concern is the comp tester shows Warm CYL 1 - 100psi CYL 2 - 95 psi CYL 3 - 95 psi Cyl 4 - 100 psi Cold CYL 1 - 95 psi CYL 2 - 90 psi CYL 3 - 90 psi CYL 4 - 95 psi it runs way too well to be broken it doesn't smoke bugger all blowby considering the boost its on so i am going to get another compression tester from work and check it is turning over very slow maybe thats it or maybe the cams (over lap i dont know ) that are throwing my readings out. it makes the same power so i am only a little worried. |
worked it out
its 12:36am here in aus but it was bugging me so i went and had another look in the shed and relised the Snap-on comp tester i borrowed had a very strong one way valve ( the wrong one ) so i replaced it with one of the spares from the box and checked one cylinder and boom 165psi.
so the fact that there all consistant i wont bother checking the rest. |
