Default Why Not?

Splurged a bit. Picked it up this weekend. Datenight car and wife's occasional beginner-group HPDE car.

Drooling... I've always loved the 12C. Makes a Miata look about as practical as a large 5 door hatchback lol.

The car looks great in that color as well. I've only ever seen them in red.

EDIT: 4C.... 4C.... 4C 4C 4C

Agreed on the color, but it's a 4C.

Congrats Rick. Those things are quick.

It's a fun drive. Draws a crowd at every fuel stop.

And the KU-KU burger (and milkshake) was great. Apparently, Miami has the last one. My Dad used to work at the BFG plant there.

I bet that thing is a blast! Are you going to try it out at MSR at least once to check the lap times?

Once I get a clear bra on it and some sort of datalogging, I plan to take it out at, say, 90% just to see. My wife will be using it for beginner level HPDE.

Oh good, cause I was about to post a thread named "Why?"

'Grats man, it's a beauty for sure. The angles you took make it look so much like an exige

I LOVE the look of the front. I've always admired Alfas and the trademark triangular "neckline" grill. I really can't explain how all of my pictures came out that way. ???

Absolutely gorgeous. And since this is posted in "Build Threads", I am curious what the future holds

It's just more of a "my ride" posting. I'm expecting this car to go out of production soon and to be pretty collectible, so planning to just keep it stock and well-maintained.

Working on it. The car is getting a clear bra on Monday. After that, some track video should show up.

They've got a lot of presence... there's one I see around my way and its small, but so wide and supercar looking in person!

Congratulations, looking forward to videos!

They're incredibly wide. Wider than my full-size G8. You've got to plan your parking and be prepared to walk. Plus, when you are parked out in the boonies and you come out of Lowes Racing, there will be a line of pickup trucks out there checking out the car. Did I mention how many people you get to meet?

Too much fun!

Me and another Miata guy were laughing our heads off:

This car is a hoot. It's a 1G car with the OEM Pirellis. Plus, I love paddles. So easy.
