Howdy guys!
Moving on to a new project so I'm selling my Turbo Miata. I realize that I don't post a ton in this community, but am grateful for the information that can be found and supplied here that helped me along the way. Searching was eternally useful and supplied almost all of the information I needed without having to ask a repeat question.


1991 Mazda Miata 1.6L 5 speed for sale.
I've had the car for 3 years and it has had a turbo for two years and roughly 10,000 miles. This was my budget minded summer car built with attention given to important parts like tuning and supporting mods- no band aids.

Turbo kit is the ebay style one which contains pretty much nothing that you need to actually get it working on your car. Relief cuts were put in the flange and eventually, a few of the original welds did crack. Since then, they've been welded back up and are holding tight without any further issues. It uses the TD05H Churbo, stock boost at 8psi cooled with oil and water. I replaced the turbo seals when the manifold was off for welding. Honestly, it didn't need rebuilding, but I went ahead anyway since I ordered the parts expecting the worst. There is no shaft play and it does have all of the balancing marks.

Megasquirt PNP Standalone ECU
Professional Tuning by Wicked Innovation (Well known Subaru folks)
ACT ZM2-HDSS clutch
2.5" exhaust to stock muffler, no cat.

More recently, the car has had a few maintenance items added and upgraded in the past 3-4 months.
KYB AGX 8-way adjustable dampening shocks, stock springs
New rear end links
New alignment bolts- everything turns freely
Hawk HPS brake pads and new Napa blank rotors all around
1997 wheels
Brand new Direzza Z2 tires
Recent alignment
New E Brake Cables

The car has never been in an accident, there are no warning lights, no check engine lights, the car has recently passed MA inspection without any issues. All of the fluids are regularly serviced and checked. Most recently, the brake fluid, engine oil, and differential oil have been replaced. The top is tight and doesn't leak and has been garaged for the past two years. There is some rust in the lower quarters because the previous owner did not clean the water drains, but the rest of the car is rust free.

I have a clean title and a thick file folder with all of the modifications and maintenance records available as well. Also included in the sale is a 4 seasons car cover and a box of spare parts.

The car has some miles, at 176,100 but the engine runs excellent and I've driven it from MA to Western PA many times without issue.

The engine runs excellent and the car is dead nuts reliable and doesn't need anything in regards to maintenance. I was driving it all over New England for work as a fuel efficient fun car during the summer months.
The new owner can add a roll bar and hit the track!

 

Final bump before listing on Ebay this weekend.

That's actually the cheapest turbo miata I've seen in a while. There was one here in Louisiana for the same price but it was thrown together with crap parts. Just be patient, you'll sell it
