Default 1992 Turbo 1.8 swap $3,000

Price dropped from 4.5K! Really need to make some room in the driveway!

190k on body. Paint is shot, rust behind the front quarter panels, dents and dings and cracks everywhere, this is not a pretty car
57k on japan sourced 1998 1.8L and 5 speed trans
4k on Flyin Miata Voodoo II turbo kit
8 lbs of boost on wastegate pressure
Flyin Miata Voodoo Box
3" Flyin Miata turboback exhaust
40k on Koni struts with lowering springs
Flyin Miata sway bars front and rear
A/C and powering steering delete (removed inner seals from rack)
Flyin Miata clutch and lightweight flywheel package installed at the same time as the turbo kit
eBay boost gauge
Authentic Momo Race steering wheel

The bad:
Brake pedal has no pressure behind it, no leaks so I suspect a bad master cylinder.
Faulty abs unit activates whenever braking under 10 mph, I was planning to remove and run new lines when I got around to replacing the master cylinder.
The top leaks slightly in hard rain
Oil pressure gauge not working
Power windows are extremely slow
Needs new battery

I bought this car with high mileage and installed the turbo kit and 1.8 to make for a cheap drift car. The body has rust and the paint is shot, but it's got plenty of life left in it structurally. The engine and transmission were bought together, imported to the US with 57k. Engine was compression tested before I purchased it, it always fires over immediately and seems to be in great shape. It makes all kinds of good turbo noises and hits peak boost almost immediately, could turn up the boost with larger injectors and a tune. All fluids were changed when I installed the turbo kit, and the transmission shifts smoothly. This would be a great candidate to remove the driveline from and swap into a much cleaner miata, or to just fix the brakes and drive as is. I daily-ed this car for 6 months with no issues, besides the master cylinder going out. I've done all of the work to this car myself so I'd be happy to answer any questions about it. I'm not really active on this forum at all, it's best to text me. Three zero four - 886-5O24

Here's a video I took up it running
