If I had $15K I'd be all over it. It's worth getting to a good owner, but it's a real niche in the market.
if you go down the list and put VERY conservative numbers next to each item you'll realize that if you bought the car anywhere around 14-15K you could make an easy 5K just dismantling it.

I understand this entirely. It would be in your best financial interest to part it out...but it would be time consuming, and probably emotionally draining considering the work you put into researching and finding the best parts to use throughout the car.

It will take finding just the right buyer to see not only how great of a deal this is, but how great of a car this is. Most modified cars are worthless, or atleast worth less than the sum of their parts. I don't think that's the case here, there's something to be said for a well balanced, well put together car.

Beautiful car, if I had wifes permission to sell my 08 Impreza and 97 Miata M45 Id be all over this. Oh to be a bachelor again! MORE than worth the $14k! Who ever is getting this (hopefully w/o part out) is getting a great deal.

PS The only thing I see that is a ??? is the padding. The rest of the car is sooo smooth, then you see the zip tied padding.

If you end up parting it, I'd be interested in the diff and tranny. I can pick it up too.

Damn I wish I could find a way to make this work (I've been quietly taking a look at it). Talk about jumping in with both feet though, this would be like driving on another planet compared to my NA.

PS The only thing I see that is a ??? is the padding.
the padding is there so you don't hurt your head in the event something happens.
it's certainly not the best padding in the world but it's better than no padding.
The cuts on the side, are for the top to operate up and down without hitting/tearing the padding in certain spots.

You might try advertising on Hemmings Motors - lot of higher dollar transactions happen there.

Very nice car - just hard to find that right buyer. Home equity is harder to come by now, that's how most buyers who don't have $15k in cash would finance.

You never know man! Ebay is a great way to sell! I have been surprised at what some items/cars go for, thats both sides of the scale though. lol

As long as it has the exposure, your good to go. Sit on your price and keep it advertised as a "buy it now" listing with the best offer option. Or, just list it in the ebay classifieds section. Not nearly as many views as an auction or fixed price type listing, but exposure is exposure.

Good luck with the sale man!
