Default 1997 Mazda miata - $6,000

Category: Import
Status: Clean Title

I have a 1997 Mazda miata for sale, in USA - New Hampshire.

Mileage: 201,000 miles

Asking price is $6,000

97 monetgo blue
200k miles on chassis.
1k miles on a fully rebuilt motor(not built like rods and pistons, like water pump, t-belt,gaskets, ect)
paint is ok. theres a couple dings in it but im sure 99% of the car would be buffed clean
black hardtop
new FM stg1 clutch
torsen rear end

now for the turbo stuff

td04hl turbo
full 3" turbo back exhaust. no cat, no resonator, flo-thru muffler
megasquirt PNP
aem wideband
boost guage
NGK bk7 spark plugss
rx7 550 cc injectors
walboro 255HP lph pump
custom FMIC 28x7x2.5 core
custom FMIC piping
GM IAT sensor
aftermarket JVC radio with two extra speakers mounted behind the headrest
lowering springs(unsure about the brand)
adjustable struts(koni)

i know i go thru cars like theres no tomorrow but ive finnaly found a great deal on my dream car and this needs to go.
been watching alot of turbo miatas sell lately on CL and mulitiple forums and been noticing ones with similar condition, somewhat mileage, power, and parts/options seem to be going for the 5k-9k range and very few of them include a hardtop
the car as it sits is good for 200whp easily... might make more depending on tuning

car is currently getting what little rust there is taken care of and the car will also be sold with a full detail

never a good thing to see a car in a FS thread without an air cleaner mounted...

and for any who wanna know, if you don't mean new pistons and rods, what DO you mean by fully rebuilt? Fully rebuild means new guts, cylinders checked head cleaned and checked, etc. New gaskets, TB and WP does not mean fully rebuilt.

i have an air filter just never put it on since i never had any time. ive had this car for quite some time and i dont even think ive crack 1000k miles in it.

fully rebuilt.. i dont think there is a specific way to say it when im talking about all the gaskets, belts, plugs, wires, ect. the internals are stock

Cool

You should change the subject title price, and also on your first post add an update maybe with bold letters to make the buyer aware.

Sometimes after a certain time after the posting the creator of the thread cannot change the title, ask an admin so at least to change the price from 6000 to 2500.

This thing about modding cars its somewhat money thrown away. It is rare one will get back what has been invested. The way you posted the car, although good pictures, did influence on not getting a buyer. You should have cleaned that engine bay, no air filter regardless if you have one or not, etc.

I no longer have the clutch, injectors, or the fuel pump but I am considering a part out.. feel free to pm me if your interested in anything. I have a friend who wants the shell so if I can atleast sell the turbo kit and the megasquirt I might just do it
