Any interest in the car for $1500 with no engine or trans?

I bought this as a project car, but I just dont think Ill have the time to do anything with it. Its got 107,000 miles and everything worked before the engine was run low on oil. Its six speed, torsen, ABS, and hard S suspension.
It has a hard dog hard top roll bar, hard top side strikers, and koni yellows.
I'm posting it whole before I start to part it out.
Clean title. Id like $2500, but its OBO.

Sometimes I despise living in the far corner of the country. Everything is so far away.

How's the soft top? Still have the hardtop? Any idea what it would take to get it running again?

 

The soft top is a aftermarket black canvas with a crappy plastic window. No hardtop. It needs a long block a.k.a. a used engine.

 

Willing to part out bits from the engine? Specifically looking for theVICS actuator and solenoid.

So is the title a salvage title?

 

This is a different car. It has 2001 headlights and a trunk spoiler on it. The op's car doesn't have them.

 

Probably not the same car. The OP's has a front lip and no rear spoiler.

Just checking... The CL one is about 2-3hrs closer to me. Must be an oil problem in AL. What's the chances of 2 '99AE with fucked up engines because of no oil that close?

 

That is not my ad, definitely a different car. I'm not ready to start parting it out just yet, but I will post it on here when I am.
