This car is built right, the MiataTurbo way, well sorted, and a joy to drive. I have owned it for 5 years, and enjoyed every minute of building and driving it. Only reason i am selling is because I have way too many toys, and get to drive this car less than 1000 miles per year. Lots of research and time went into building this car over the years of my ownership. It is one of the most refined modified Miata's i have ever driven, it retains all OEM creature comforts, has full functioning COLD AC, hot heat, and power steering. Plus sound deadening materials lining the trunk and rear shelf for improved noise insulation. Only real negative, is that the clear coat is chalking off due to Florida sun. I'm not a potential buyer, but one thing I'd be curious about that I didn't see mentioned would be the brakes. Also, are your fenders rolled a bit? 15x9 is a wide tire. You don't say it, but is your 3.6 diff a torsen II diff?
|
NBs do not require fender modification in any way for this wheel/tire combination.
|
Stock brakes with stop tech sports pads. Great braking even at track days. Zero complaints on brakes for my novice track day driving.
fenders are not rolled, with these wheels its not required on nb2 miatas. No rubbing Torsen II 3.636 oem untouched low mile unit from UK prestige parts. |

I really like what you have done with the car. i have been saving up for three years to buy a turbo like this and i think i am almost there. I live north of Tampa. Is the car anywhere near there?

My miata is a blast to drive, and very reliable. I have had zero issues with it since I built it.. just get in and drive anywhere you want. |
Great build. I would snatch this up but I'm too deep in my build. Glws!
|
Oh what I'd give for a rust free NB2! That's just a pipe dream here in Britain. I think you Americans would recoil in horror if you saw my car.
GLWS borka. You've done a great job with the build. I've just built my Kraken/EFR NB2 and so I know how awesome it is even at just 10-12psi. |
Thanks for the thumbs 👍
Deposit received, car is pending sale. |
Darn! I was so close! Well, congrats! If things don't work out with this sale, please let me know.

So what toy is taking up your time these days that this deal-of-the-century has to go?

I think I am asking a fair price for a nicely built efr miata, that's well sorted and reliable. For the past few years I have been way more into boating than into cars. between owning a sailboat, power boat, motorcycle, and a racing go kart, the miata almost never gets driven. I live in flat Florida, so the only real places to have some genuine fun with it is at the track or autox. And my passion for those venues has dwindled lately.. If I lived in the mountains, and could go on a fun spirited canyon carving ride at any time, I would no doubt use the miata much more. |
Car sold. Went to a good home.
