Howdy.
I’m selling my 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata, I’m the second owner and it is COMPLETELY STOCK. I purchased it in May of 2014 and has been garage kept since then. It has only seen rain 4 times. This has been babied, it gets a fresh coat of wax every month and a wash every week or so. This car is the Mazdaspeed edition, one of 5000 ever made. The color of the car is exclusive to the Mazdaspeed, its a stunning color called Titanium Mica. This isn't your average miata at all. It is a true drivers car. It doesn't break the bank on gas either. I’ve averaged about 27-28 MPG with a mix of city/highway driving. The car has 61,000 miles on it, 6000 of which were from me. I’m selling it because of my commuting situation. I need something with more space and money for education.

Everyone that has rode or seen it loves it, its an experience no other vehicle can provide.

I was always a lurker around the forum and I'm going to be 100% honest, I never needed an account until now. I got the car about 6 months ago and realized I couldn't afford it. As a broke college student trying to sell his car for school. Im sorry, I never contributed to forum more.

I've been completely and utterly honest, I don't really understand the hate and name calling directed towards me. I bought the car going into my freshman year of college to commute back and forth to school. I have a side job at Dominos Pizza and the money I made from that went right back into upkeep for the car. Anyone who buys the car will be getting a great deal.

You seem to be genuinely unaware, so I'll be nice to you and actually tell you:

we HATE people that join, spam post to 15, and then try to PM people to sell/buy or make a FS or WTB ad to sell/buy.

We hate them because they are worthless non-contributors, and not part of the community.

This is not your personal Craigslist. This is a community of enthusiasts who all help each other out, and many of us are friends even in real life.

The "Cars for sale/trade" sub-forum is viewable without registering. So by definition, an outsider does not have to be part of the community to see this thread. Yet, my point is still valid; it gives them an opportunity to register, say hello, and get involved.

It doesn't change the fact that we both feel there's room for improvement in the classified rules for this forum.

 

The only part of this that annoys me is that these worthless posts litter my "New Posts" function and putting the people on ignore still shows the threads in all search queries.
