I've got firsthand experience driving this car, and it is spectacular! I've driven this car to a mid 1:41 at Sonoma almost 5 years ago, and it's even faster now! It reminds me of a "mini cup car" - super well balanced, very accessible limits, feels solid like it is chiseled from a block of granite. TC built the platform and then Tom Hogan continued to develop it with help from both TC and Tim Barber. He put equal attention into making it fast, reliable and well balanced. The aero is functional at both front and rear and well-balanced

Having built an LS1-miata myself, I can say that this lightweight approach rather than the brute-force approach of a V8 swap is the way to go. It's hard to imagine getting more car than this for the asking price.

On an unrelated note how did you get that valve cover paint looking so nice. That car looks like a ton of fun.

Just commenting to bump this rocket, ask a question and display my ignorance. Question - how much boost does it make? Ignorance (chance to learn something) why a blowoff on a supercharged car?

Because the engine does not go down to 0 rpm when you lift off.
The butterfly slams shut when you pull your foot off the gas, but since the engine is still spinning, the mechanically attached supercharger keeps producing boost.
Having nowhere to go, the boost creates a serious spike in the intercooler and all associated pre TB plumbing...
It also places undue and uncalled for stress on the charger blades/vanes/turbine.
A BOV politely shows the door to the redheaded stepchild, that's all.

Another way to deal with this very issue is incorporating a second TB, before the charger.
Since the pre-charger TB slams shut, too, when you lift, the charger is cleverly deprived of air to pressurize...

And, I guess this is enough off-topic chit chat on a for sale thread.

Agreed about off topic but just to say thanks. I took another look at the engine bay pic and realized that the rotex has the tb south of the blower. On my MP62 it's north = no blowoff.

Now back to the sale; If I had the money and the *****, I'd buy this thing.
