If you have the money (ie. make $120k+/year), why not just buy something with all the **** either already installed or something (gasp) other than a miata? Something with better suspension and more hp from the factory?

Because everyone makes 120k year on a forum. Especially those who have trouble paying off base begi kits for x amount of time, and have girlfriends repossess 350Z's

i have a bad habit - i spend too much $$. also, keep in mind that im in LA where cost of living is insane. as for begi kit - i had other priorities at that time.
