Any photos by chance? It sounds like a nice ride.
I live in Austin (78726) off 620 9 months out of the year and I've been looking for a reliable shop around the area. I'll have to come check you guys out sometime.

Need pics and dyno sheets.

in-terested. I'll be in back in Austin on Saturday. My sissy needs a track car.

Installed by begi, yet doesn't idle right?

Strange how a $1,639.00 ecu cant idle right..

Nice price, good luck with the sale!

We cleaned it up tonight and just took some interior pics. Too dark for exterior, so I'll take some tomorrow.

We're showing it on Saturday at our shop in Georgetown. If anyone's in the Austin area, this is a map to that shop.

We'll be there most of the day working on the '94 LS6 project :)

As for Dyno sheets, I believe Stephanie (BEGI) has the latest. Steph, if you have any can you send them my way?

wow tempting

The car is now in my garage in Round Rock. The potential interest to see it at the Gtown shop didn't pan out, so if anyone is interested, shoot me an email or PM!

We finally got a dyno sheet from BEGI. This was "low boost" from what Steph says. Good curves, but does make more power now with boost turned up a bit more, but Steph couldn't find any of the latest dynos.

Nice low/mid torque!

What turbo--2560?

thirdgen 02-20-2009 06:34 PM

If this was a 10AE with a bigger turbo, then this would be my dream Miata and I'd be flyin down there to drive it home. $12,500 seems high until you read all the parts that are involved with this thing. Good luck with the sale!

Oh you mean my car? ;) Well sort of, the motor is in my garage and I'm watching others' builds to see if the 2871 is the right choice for me...

Built engine, BEGi turbo, full exhaust, coil overs, etc. It's a really nice build.

sm2dan 02-20-2009 06:40 PM

heh, thanks guys. it's definitely not a 10AE. When the fuel management is sorted out it'll be a dream, but even right now it's still stupid fast. If it doesn't sell as a whole (make offers!) he'll probably have me part it out next. Start making your dibs now.

Dan,
Sorry to keep whoring on your thread but I was too stupid to read your signature earlier and just realized who you are. I bought Buck's 10ae that was at your shop a few months ago.

sm2dan 02-20-2009 07:10 PM

Did you really?? that was a *nice* car (still is, i'm sure) but i remember that car well!

Dan is the car still available? I called and left VM earlier for Matt. Please let me know if it's still available...I'm in Dallas

sm2dan 03-18-2009 03:49 PM

Still available as far as I know, since it's still here in Austin. Try emailing him at matt.knopp at gmail dot com
