Besides adding 1600 miles, what value have you added to ask $2300 more than last time?

What's matched fuel injectors? Are people out here running 640 on one cylinder and 240 on the next?? Also, why the yellow hoses on a red car? Did Ronald McDonald previously own this which is why the asking price is so high?

2005 called, it would like its hot mods back.

It's a super-low-mile Miata. That's got value, but I think the mods actually detract from that value. I can see $12k easy for an unmolested, original paint 95 with this mileage, probably more. But a modified car, you've removed all the reasons the low mileage is an advantage. Who knows how long that paint job will last, or being that it's red, whether it'll ever age evenly. The motor has low miles, but a rebuild with goodies inside would be a better match for the turbo. You've taken off the stock suspension, so the mileage doesn't really matter there. The interior has been swapped out, so clearly it shouldn't have any wear on it (the fit on those seat covers is terrible, btw), and those door panels match the ones on the ratted-out 200k Miata I saw at an event the other day - congrats.

If you can get the VIN off the differential, we can help you figure out what might be in there, if the entire assembly was swapped over. But there's always the chance that isn't what happened.

I just re-read the post and have to laugh. Definitely not a definitive modern build. A dated, needs-everything-done-again build, unfortunately for you, seller.

Also, if this makes 240whp, I'll eat my Miata.

I believe you're referring to me. Your reading comprehension skills are abysmal. Are you even trying or are you just looking for an excuse to bump your overpriced clown car?

What I said, with important words highlighted.

I think you'd have a much warmer reception here if you were honest about what you're trying to sell, both to potential buyers and to yourself. This is not a $17k car and it is not "THE car if you want a turbo NA". At least not in 2021. I'm not sure you'd even get $10k here. $7-8k might be a more realistic figure.

TIP: When making a sales pitch to a specific audience, "Know your audience!"

Phrases such as "This is THE car if you want a turbo NA." aint gonna go down too well here if your car is full of outdated/questionable parts.

I don't care if you have "New high capacity Mishimoto radiator with dual fans.", on this forum, Mishimoto radiators and fans don't get any lovin'.

The style bar scares me too, they give no protection and are just as likely to crumple into the cabin and pin/harm the driver/passenger.

To the untrained eye it looks like a great little car and it may actually drive well so GLWS, this is just the wrong forum to make sweeping statements that are blatently BS.

PS: Apart from the style bar, the car looks great. Tone it down and focus on its reliability with proven parts (ie. the FM turbo kit).

The reliability of this car has never been in question-I have had ZERO issue in the total of 3 years with the car. Why do you guys insist on giving your opinion of a car you have never seen and all the while being not very nice in the process. If you feel that technology has moved forward after the build of this car (about 10 years ago) then that is your opinion. This is still a no accidents, low mileage, turbo car with other (in MY opinion) tasteful mods with no issues that has been flawless for ME since my ownership of 3 years total and runs great and handles well.. I have not as far as I know (and you guys DEFINITELY don't know as NONE of your have driven or seen it) stated anything untrue and am just trying to sell my car. As far as the price, well, car prices have escalated lately and if I want to ask $100,000 for my car that is no ones concern-I probably just won't sell it (there is plenty of stock low mileage Miatas that have sold in this price range-well guess what, some people may want a non-stock car like mine-I DID when I bought it) In closing, please keep your comments to yourself,I don't need my ad cluttered with your comments, this is of course the "sell your car" section not an open forum. Thanks Rich

Hey Spitfun, looks like a nice, well cared for car. Lots of helpful details about what is on the car. (I just like cars and don't know jack about many of the details so helps to see them so i can do my own research). Doesn't look like anyone here has driven or looked at the car so not sure where all the negative comments are coming from. Sorry, not looking for another car at the moment. Was just poking around the forum. Best of luck. Car looks good.

This community started the whole turbocharged miatas thing. They tend to know a few things. We can look at this car from pictures and tell you plenty without seeing it or driving it. It's called being familiar with the platform, and aftermarket support over the years. This is also a forum, not a paid classifieds so we can, and will comment when a un-informed person is trying to inaccurately depict a car as it's something special when it's not.

Why would you comment on an ad for a SOLD car? The car sold quite quickly and to the first guy that came and looked at it. Everything in the ad was accurate to the best of my knowledge and the guy loves the car. All the negative comments only turned away people that may have been interested but instead listened to the peanut gallery and all the negative commentary-once someone came out and looked I got full asking price for the car no quibbling about price. I have never been on a forum that attacks a guy just trying to sell his car-and now even after it's sold!!!

It really doesn’t matter it sold. You have a problem with reading and comprehension and overvalue your molested “LOW” milage car.
