Congratulations, you have enough attention span to appreciate this Miata. If you've been searching for that excuse-free track-prepped Miata that is consistently several seconds quicker per lap than every NASA Spec Miata track record, this is your machine. A well balanced overall package, the torque is enough to sniff the redline in 5th on long track straightaways, but modestly and safely tuned to stay reliable for years at a time, not minutes. The bespoke Penske's are magical and bring the platform to the next level, no more mucking around with merely good dampers. My hood underbracing is about to crack and fold from the Singulär vent install. Is yours holding up well?
What a clean build. Too clean, even if a 1.6 |

- remove turbo - put CARB legal intake - remove aftermarket header and exhaust, unless they have CA OE CARB stickers for this year - have working catalytic converter - have all O2 sensors in place and working - possibly set timing within manufacturer's spec (there is a cut off date, but I don't remember what it is) - there are also other items, but these above are most important |
Be still my heart.

The Miata is sold. It'll live on at the racetrack under new stewardship.
