A well balanced overall package, the torque is enough to sniff the redline in 5th on long track straightaways, but modestly and safely tuned to stay reliable for years at a time, not minutes. My hood underbracing is about to crack and fold from the Singulär vent install. Is yours holding up well?

What a clean build. Too clean, even if a 1.6

I top-mounted the Singular vents in order to retain most of the hoods' structure. No issues here.

What would be required in order to make this beast street legal in the state of CA?

I don't know California's legislation well enough to give you a good answer. I'm sure it's searchable however.

You will need to put anything related to emissions back and pass a smog test.

- remove turbo
- put CARB legal intake
- remove aftermarket header and exhaust, unless they have CA OE CARB stickers for this year
- have working catalytic converter
- have all O2 sensors in place and working
- possibly set timing within manufacturer's spec (there is a cut off date, but I don't remember what it is)
- there are also other items, but these above are most important
