Track Prepped 2003 Mazda Miata MX-5 Miata - track + street car for sale - Atlanta GA area

This has been primarily a HPDE track car for me, but it is registered in GA and is daily drivable with a current GA emissions. Only 81,xxx miles on the car with a 1.8 VVT engine, 5 speed and Torsen LSD. This is a very well sorted and a turn-key track car + street car that needs nothing. Buy it and take it to the track.

Specs:

· Two Marrad TS2 aluminum race seats. http://www.marradind.com/proddetail.asp?prod=TS2 with a Schroth six point harness in the driver’s side and a 5 point Simpson harness in the passenger side. Both seats have back braces connected to the Hard Dog roll bar. These seats include removable (velcroed) seat cushions that make them comfortable for daily driving or driving to the track. The OEM seatbelts are still in the car, but the receivers are not installed, but I have them if you want to wear the stock belts.

· Hard Dog roll bar, double diagonal, with harness bar and padding

· 4.3 Torsen limited slip differential, Red Line fluids changed less than 600 miles ago.

· Fat Cat Motorsports coilovers with 700/425 springs.

· Racing Beat front anti-sway bar, “Hard S” rear, both with adjustable end links.

· Flyin Miata extended lower ball joints.

· Koyo aluminum racing radiator.

· LRB Speed aluminum door cards/panels.

· 5 speed manual transmission, Red Line fluids changed less than 600 miles ago.

· New clutch less than 7,000 miles ago.

· New water pump and timing belt installed less than 5,000 miles ago.

· Adjustable timing wheel.

· Racing Beat Header + Track Dog Racing heat blanket.

· OEM hardtop in great condition. Mounted with racing brackets. I also have the OEM latches.

· Cold air intake.

· Brakes –G-Loc R10 on front, R8 on back. Factory Sport Brakes.

· Five 15 x 8 Advanti Storm S1 lightweight wheels (5 total, gunmetal grey) wrapped in four almost new 205 Dunlop Direzza Star Spec ZIIIs (only two 20 min track sessions on the 4 tires). Spare is an older Dunlop Direzza Star Spec ZII.

· Aftermarket head unit and speakers.

· Racing alignment, corner weighting and Dyno by Racing Analytics. HOME - Racing Analytics Happy to share the set up sheets. I also have an inspection report from Racing Analytics from Feb 2019 that I can share.

· No fluid leaks of any kind.

This NB Miata has been rock-sold reliable and a complete blast on the track. With the Marrad seats, this is a relatively rare set up that works great for both track and street. The Marrad seats are bolted to the floor to get maximum clearance under the roll bar as required for track inspection to ensure passing the “broomstick test.” I am 6’ and the seat works well for someone between 5’10” and 6”2.” I also have the Marrad slider brackets if you want to install them to move the seat. The NB is a low mile, well-sorted, well maintained, turn-key track car. The paint has various scratches, dings, smudges, etc. that are typical for a track car, but no rust. If you want a show car, look elsewhere. If you want an excellent track car that is also streetable, then here it is. I also have lots of spare parts that are included at no additional cost, including the stock seats.

$7,500 with the hardtop. $6,500 if you don’t want the hardtop. Convertible top is in good condition with a glass window and defrost. I will not sell the hardtop separately until I sell the car.
