sorry to be raggin, but I dont think a car like that will be well recieved here ... personally I think its really ugly. I actually like the CRX bodystyle, but the modifications to the body and interior are just plain gaudy and too out there. Keep in mind that I have gone from the extreeme of loving that sort of attention getting stuff 3 or 4 years ago, to appreciating simplicity in an almost extreme way.

ehh im ranting ... good luck with the sale, theres plenty of people who would die for a car that looks like that.

 

Sand the fenders down and let it get rusty. Label it a hoodride and some moron will be all over it.

I know it's not for everybody. It was/is a pretty decent local level SM2 autocross car. He hasn't run it much since he put the body kit on. In fact, he has been co-driving my miata. Which is why he is now looking for one. My car's wing and stickers gets me more "attention" than I want when I drive it on the street, just imagine how much "attention" that crx gets a 19 year old.

 

try not to "let" him do that to the miata... yow.

It looks like it was sponsored by APC. Try selling the car locally and just buying a miata. Don't know how well that will trade.

 

Ebay it. Some kid somewhere is dying for a "pimped" ride. =)

 

I second the Ebay, you will be able to get a much better miata that way. Please make him keep it stock for awhile, lol!

 

Tell you what man that is a clean *** ride, very well done. Except for being yellow it is by far the nicest CRX i have ever seen +1 for ebay selling and buying and boosting a miata yourself. The time/ effort your son puts into turboing the car with you or by himself will make him enjoy it all the more and help in the essential bonding process of Horse and rider. GL

 

Your son won't be the only one to from a CRX to a Miata...

Yup, I got bored so I tried to chop the carbon hood clear in the middle like the magazines do. I couldn't find any pics from my swap, but the B16 hauled ***.

 

does it transform into anything?

 

We are working on trying to get it to transform into a forced induction miata. But no luck yet.
