2-3 word google searches, post the first thing that's 3 paragraphs or longer, the more questionable graphs without sources, the better. It's just that easy, anyone can do it.

Whew, they are hurting.

I'm sure they will be filing for bankruptcy soon.

The NFL is bankrupt now too...

Yeah, following the NFL's 2017 PR model was a stellar stroke of Genius. I'm sure they will do well. Nike should double down and actually do high exposure television ads during the games this week. Oh wait.

the tolerant left is at work again:

The front-runner in Brazil's presidential election, Jair Bolsonaro, has been stabbed at a campaign rally.

The far-right politician was attacked in a crowd in the south-east state of Minas Gerais. A suspect was arrested.

Mr Bolsonaro had surgery for injuries to his intestines and is expected to recover, hospital officials said.

The controversial politician, who has outraged many in Brazil with racist and homophobic comments, has performed strongly in recent opinion polls.

The polls suggest he will get the most votes in the first round of the October presidential elections if former President Luis Inácio Lula da Silva remains blocked from standing, but he is unlikely to win a run-off.

Left-wing Lula had been the long-standing favourite but he is currently in prison, appealing against a ban on his candidacy that was imposed after his conviction for corruption.

I'm guessing you didn't read the article in question? I glanced at it yesterday, but i'm pretty sure it made mention that "Deep State" didn't exist.

Braineack 09-07-2018 09:46 AM

I read the subheading:

I work for the president but like-minded colleagues and I have vowed to thwart parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.
then i read this:

deep state
noun
  1. a body of people, typically influential members of government agencies or the military, believed to be involved in the secret manipulation or control of government policy.

imho, it's nothing more than swastikas painted on synagogues, in the night, by liberal jews.

Also, which "Dude" are we speaking of? The president? Kristen Schaal? Paul Manafort? Burt Reynolds? The actual Dude?

Braineack 09-07-2018 10:51 AM

the anonymous steady-state "dude".

Like him or not, Obama speaks like a respectable human being. A very different way of speaking, from what we have become used to hearing.

just watched latest speech.

Sounded like an arrogant elitist prick to me.

Being able to *speak like a respectable human being* doesn't change the fact that everything that comes out of his mouth is bold-faced lies and verbal vomit. Appearing to be honest, caring, and good-hearted while lying through your teeth, and appearing to have complete knowledge over a subject while knowing nothing are indeed incredible skills, and they are traits common among all of the best timeshare salesmen, door to door marketers, and financial advisers.

I would take a fairly intelligent egomaniac who speaks like dog shit coming out of a horse's mouth over that any day of the week.

TIL it's okay to a vial lying egomaniac, you just need to sound good doing it.

Just as he blamed bush for all his shortcomings, he patted himself on the back for everything Trump is doing, referred to himself 102 times in 1 hour, tried to pit people against republicans using silly fear tactics, mentioned the political division and paranoia he caused, even referring to republicans voters as a sickness.

He said the best way to protest is to vote -- well that's what republicans did.

Respect is earned, being a slick conman is not respectable.

I love the $2,500 savings a year I get in healthcare, plus I got to keep my doctor, and I don't have to pay a healthcare tax if I'm not covered. Thanks Obama!

Ask yourself: was the Donald Trump character modeled after Cave Johnson?

The answer is probably no.

But that doesn't matter! We're gonna keep throwing foreign policy at the wall, and see what sticks!

Well since you guys loved it so much and picked it apart like seagulls and a bag of McDonald's... Let's look at the statement above.

last I checked, the American people did not vote in favor for the current POTUS. Some strange system of tiered voting is directly responsible. A flawed machine in which a few individuals are ultimately in charge of making the final vote. A few people deciding for me, whether or not my choice was the right one, and in the end, doing as they please.

I am finally starting to really identify with a political party though. I'm a Republican-Democrat mix, with left leaning tendencies and the ability to adapt to new thinking as I age.

Damn constitution... More trouble than it's worth. We really ought to get rid of it.
