I feel almost dirty making an argument which supports the current President, but in law school, they teach you to represent the best interests of your client. And, as this is a devils-advocate scenario, that's where I find myself. (Am I seriously defending Trump against SS Col. Braineack? That seems like a bizarro-world construct.) It's easy to assume that, since the president paid off a porn-star to seclude details of their sexual relationship, that said relationship involved elements of prostitution. This is not the case. While Stormy Daniels has been less than effusive in her descriptions of sex with the president (her exact words, if I recall correctly, were "purely textbook sex"), this does not implicate the president in illegal activity; merely bad taste. (Seriously, French nails? That is such a huge turn-off for me that I can barely describe my disgust. I very nearly broke up with my now-ex-fiancee over this very issue. Needless to say that there were deeper issues, but the fingernail thing wasn't far from the top.) |
What makes you think you're defending him against me?
he didnt do anything illegal and i dont find it immoral. |

While I will admit that the dildo is of high quality and has proven to be highly durable, I'm not certain how this relates to either kittens or the future security of the United States. this is just too perfect -- must be utopia over there:
Maduro's huge salary increases force 40% percent of Venezuelan stores to close | International | fltimes.com Maduro's huge salary increases force 40% percent of Venezuelan stores to close Nearly 40 percent of all Venezuelan stores have closed —some of them perhaps permanently —after the government of President Nicolas Maduro increased the minimum salary by nearly 3,500 percent in one fell swoop, according the National Council of Commerce and Services of Venezuela. Many of the companies, which had been barely surviving the gradual collapse of the economy, saw the salary increase and other changes announced last month as the fatal blow in a series of policies that have been gradually strangling their businesses. "These decisions are leading many business people to say, 'No, I can't do it any more,'" said Maria Carolina Uzcategui, president of the council. The problem is that Venezuelan companies are being forced to sell at prices far below cost just as employee salaries are increasing 60 times, Uzcategui said. What's more, the regime has banned stores from increasing their prices to cover the salary increases, arguing that it is not necessary. If they do increase prices, store owners or managers can end up in prison, Uzcategui said. "We have inspections, and they force us to sell at last month's prices," she said. "That takes money away from the business because of the hyperinflation, when you can't even sell at yesterday's prices because you lose money." ... Directive Number 10-289 Point Seven. All wages, prices, salaries, dividends, profits, interest rates and forms of income of any nature whatsoever, shall be frozen at their present figures, as of the date of this directive. |

President Trump has directed the Department of Justice to publicly release “all text messages relating to the Russia investigation, without redaction, of James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and Bruce Ohr,” as well as to declassify other material related to the Russian investigation, including the controversial FISA applications used to get approval for surveillance of the Trump campaign. https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...69&oe=5C29357A |

The moral of the story seems to be "Don't try to rape people." This seems to be good advice regardless of whether or not to plan to become a celebrity or nominee for public office. |
