LiveLeak.com - Useless cop watches people rescue lady trapped upside down in car in water
A 62 yr-old lady has been involved in an accident, and the car has flipped upside down in a ditch and partially submerged in water. She is trapped in the vehicle, under water (according to comment heard), stuck in her seatbelt, and clearly in need of desperate help. A few minutes in, and the people manage to get her free, but the victim is barely breathing. This is very much a life and death situation. As the video ends, it looks like one of the people is about to try and resuscitate the victim. Reports have since emerged that the 62-yr old woman has survived the incident thanks to the people who rescued her, but she remains in a critical condition in hospital. Just why the hell is the cop just standing and walking around, give the phone to someone else and get in there and save this womans life. This looks to be a life & death situation for the victim, and yet the police officer does not lend any physical assistance or guidance. At times, the police officer is nowhere near the car. Update > Local press in the area have also reported the police officer stood by, watching, talking on a cell phone while members of the public rescued the woman. The Sudbury Police Dept has since praised recognition on the people involved for saving the womans life, saying “Individuals on the scene responded quickly and were able to remove the woman from the vehicle,” police said. Police ALSO said (in defense?) "The police blocked intersections to expedite their travel time to Health Sciences North. She is in critical, but stable condition." Oh, you blocked traffic ? |

Woman Beaten, Stripped Naked, and Locked in Confinement for Unpaid Ticket Awarded $75K | The Free Thought Project
Keyarika Diggles was arrested May 5 for an allegedly unpaid ticket. Her attorney said she was brutalized by former Jasper Police Officers while dispatcher Davenport watched without intervening. “Ms. Diggles was dragged like an animal into a darkened “detox” cell, even though she was not intoxicated, and left battered and bruised on the floor for hours without medical attention. To add further insult to injury, she was then stripped naked and illegally searched,” says a statement issued by the Bernsen Law Firm. The incident was captured on surveillance video which was used as evidence in the case. According to 12News file stories, the incident resulted in the termination officers Grissom and Cunningham. Dispatcher Lindsey Davenport was terminated from her position because following her arrest on a non-related family violence case. Ms. Diggles was awarded a $75,000.00 settlement today according to her attorney. The defendants in the case include Jasper Mayor Mike Lout, Captain Gerald Hall, former dispatcher Lindsey Davenport, former officer Ricky Grissom, former officer Ryan Cunningham and the City of Jasper. |
Jury convicts Okla. cop in death of teen
An Oklahoma jury Tuesday convicted a veteran police captain of first-degree manslaughter in the death of an unarmed teenager who was running away after scuffling with the officer. Del City Police Capt. Randy Trent Harrison shot Dane Scott Jr. in the back on March 14, 2012, following a high-speed chase that began when Harrison tried to pull over Scott's car. Harrison had previously arrested Scott on drug violations, and prosecutors said his pursuit of the teenager crossed the line from professional to personal. The defense portrayed Scott as a drug dealer and said Harrison believed the teen was reaching for a second weapon after the officer took one gun from him during a scuffle that followed the police chase. The jury announced the verdict and recommended the minimum four-year prison sentence after deliberating for about 11 hours over two days. |

I wish I could stop coming to this thread. It always makes me feel sick to read and watch some of these stories. I'm so disgusted that these pigs can get away with these crimes, even murder with little more than either being suspended, fired, or MAYBE a few years for manslaughter. Their job shouldn't be protected, and should be just like any other job. Their crimes shouldn't hold less penalty. And someone please fucking take away their guns. They are supposed to be the most responsible, but they have time and time again proven that they are some of the least responsible gun users out there. Shoot now, ask questions later. You swing at me with a fist or try to run away, I'll just have to put you in the ground with a whole magazine worth of bullets.

False Arrest Caught ont Tape. Teen Arrested & Accused Of Trying To Grab Officer's Gun But Cell Phone Footages Show's Somebody's Lying! The video clearly shows an altercation between Greenburgh Police and a young man after he and his friends were stopped while sitting in a car here at a townhouse complex. Police claim the scuffle was started when the man being subdued "attempted to interfere" with the arrest of a female passenger who had an outstanding warrant. Police also claim that another passenger in the car, Gary Patterson, tried to "grab an officer's firearm". "The video as you can tell I was behind the camera, I was nowhere near in the picture or nowhere near any of the officers," Patterson said. Police say Patterson fled the scene after trying to take the officer's gun. But a passenger in the car had videotaped the entire incident. She did not want to be identified. She says the video clearly shows her friend did not flee. "I saw him walk away and the cops did nothing they let him walk away, they allowed him to walk away, they told him he could go," the passenger said. "If I had attempted to take the officer's gun he would have arrested me right there on the spot. I wouldn't have been able to walk home," Patterson said. It's only after he went to the Greenburgh Police Station an hour later to help get his friend released that he was arrested and charged with attempted robbery for trying to grab a cop's gun. "Why would I walk or come back to the precinct after I attempted to take an officer's weapon? That wouldn't be too bright of me," Patterson said. Patterson and his friend received an open container summons for two beers found by police who searched the car after police say: "an odor of marijuana was detected". But, not a trace of marijuana was found. Police say two of their officers received minor injuries during the altercation. "Thank God someone recorded what actually happened," said Michael Joseph, Patterson's attorney. An attorney for Patterson says the video shows his client never entered the fray and he says any Grand Jury looking at it would draw the same conclusion. "My client leaves, there was no contact whatsoever between my client and these officers and in fact, he was some distance away from the officers, not even in the picture," Joseph said. Greenburgh Police says they are reviewing the video and are investigating the matter. A spokesman for the department added that the video does not capture the entire incident and that it will make a determination about the case based on the evidence. Teen claims video proves false arrest by NYPD |

Brady Lake Police Department assault citizen over asking questions about a ticket. mention attorney and get worse beat down. I was stopped for front license plate. I'd never had an altercation with a police officer so I never even considered recording what I thought would be a uneventful stop. I don't know why but the officer was extremely irate from the initial encounter. He tried to get me to verbally admit I buckled up after his lights came on. I rightfully denied this and he was furious. When I told him my front license plate fell off due to a broken bracket, he lost it and with vulgarity ripped me a new one. He went back to his car for about 30 minutes while I became very impatient. A local sheriff stopped by likely because I called expressing concern for my safety. I also wisely thought to begin recording with my phone . When the original officer came back to my car, his tone was totally different. I was charged with Failure to Comply, Resisting Arrest and the no front license plate. All but license plate was dropped. The officers lied through their teeth on their police reports and cleverly had BOTH dash cams wiped. They didn't know mine was still going. Points to note that saved my arse. On the officers police reports, they put they had to slam me to the ground to put cuffs on me to justify the assault. Not only did they lie on the police report but they completely made up an elaborate hoax of a story! As you can see I was clearly cuffed immediately without resistance after coming out of the vehicle. Before the Brady Lake officer Marlon Webster decided to cheap shot spear tackle me into my car, the other officer acknowledged that I had a concern about rights. I was even at one point offered all charges dropped if I signed a paper that I wouldn't sue. I refused. Also its important to note that over a front license plate. I had to sit for like 12-15 hours in a holding cell with a bunch of guys trying to teach me how to get drugs into jail sticking it in your butt. I missed work, and had over 700 dollars in bail tied up for the full year that the courts snowballed this case. I was even at one point offered all charges dropped if I signed a paper that I wouldn't sue. I refused. I went from from trusting police to now I will record EVERY encounter from start to finish. I literally am deathly afraid of the power police hold and fear the fact that they can destroy your life just with a single lie. I think I had a pretty legitimate question about the ticket considering Brady Lake is a small village and I was pulled over on State Route 261 in Kent by Klaben very clear of any obvious Village of Brady Lake jurisdiction. Even if it was the stupidest question on earth, I'm pretty sure I never waived my right to free speech. I just found the police report!! Quote. "Dep. Hoffman #155 and myself opened Ryan's door and removed him from the vehicle. Ryan became very combative and ignored my commands to stop resisting and place your hands behind your back as well as Dep. Hoffman's commands to stop resisting also. Dep. Hoffman and myself struggled and fought with Ryan on the ground for an extended period of time to place him in a stiff arm bar lock to place him in handcuffs. " I've never imagined how easily it was for cops to just make stories up to fit the situation. Without this video I would have GUARANTEED been convicted. Its obvious why cops don't want you to record them. They have to be honest!! |
