What engine can I put in my Miata? - MX-5 Miata Forum

"Because I don't know what a starter looks like I'm suddenly ignorant about.my car and unworthy of pulling the engine? "

Oh man. Maybe it's because I have a nice buzz going from coming home late from work and drinking a martini on an empty stomach but these are the funniest threads. Thank you.

Dude is from Richmond; it makes perfect sense. His whole approach/methodology to wrenching on the car explains how/why his motor could have blowned up. He also suggest it was a rebuilt motor, but I spy stock rods poking out the newly formed breather hole.

/o/ - Auto

Oh dear lord it's the same guy....

He wants to know what to do with his car now

"All I know is it threw a rod. The company that rebuilt iut tried to say it was because the clutch was installed incorrectly, but I know that's bullshit. It's not really worth it to hire a lawyer to go after them for the money so I'm just like '**** it'"

>After he admitted to crashing it

"So /o/, should I get a new car or should I put a new engine in my car? I currently have a 99 Miata with no engine. I should be getting like $1000 back from taxes, and I'm gonna hopefully save $750-1000 by the time I get that tax money. So the question is: do I put a new engine in my car for around that amount, or do I get another car?"

Lord help us

I got the engine out, so I'm pretty sure I can put a new one in
