That's definitely a police fail. I don't think the doctor did anything wrong there. He went through the appropriate channels available to him but the enforcement side escalated it way too much.

They likely had a couple armored cars seconded from the military that hadn't seen action in months, and needed an "event" to justify the costs of keeping them... plus a shit-ton of overtime for the SWAT guys... and the deployment of their mobile command center... and at least one helicopter in case the baby makes a dash for it. If they don't use that stuff, they can't justify keeping it in the budget, so there's an incentive to send it all for even the most minor events. Just speculatin and talkin shit.

Send in the car.

Should have used a flash bang on the baby again. That is always a useful tactic.

Apparently they only need to think there's a burglar inside to go in...

Police Storm House To Apprehend Burglar Hiding In Bathroom And, Uh, That's Not A Burglar

^Thats funny. The fact that the dog wasn't going completely apeshit in the bedroom is a good indication that its the smartest one there. The dog probably knew there wasn't anybody in the house when they let it out of the truck down on the street, and it sure as shit knew when it got inside.

Anyways... I turn on our Eufy every morning when I leave for work. Checklist includes closing all bedroom and bathroom doors because it'll get stuck inside. The main living areas and the hall are all robot-proofed, which took awhile... but for the last few months, it's making it back to the charging station about 95% of the time. The only time it gets stuck is if one of the kids leaves a charging cable plugged in that lays on the floor.

It fills up it's bin full every day. Sometimes when I get home I let it run again... the house is visibly cleaner with the thing.

Our big girl (55lb lab/pit mix), she tries to fight the vacuum every time I use it.

I really wish I could leave her out at night, but she seems to always find something new to destroy once we go to bed.

You can hear her bark out on the street even when she is in the house.
