Some people are far too stupid for their own good. What a complete ------- douche. Just shut the ---- up and don't be a retard and everything would be fine. I HATE people like this, so much. They think they are so well educated on the constitution, and try to make claims that are entirely wrong. I agree with one of the comments, if this guy was my neighbor, I would walk over and punch him in the face for being so stupid.

Again, sure they could have just ignored it, but I certainly don't blame them for approaching the man to find out what the problem was. Let me sum up what happens, if the crazy dude has half a lick of sense: The charges get thrown out, and then the crazy dude makes bank when he sues the city because the cops were retarded.

Being a douche is not illegal. ----, if being a douche were illegal, Pushy would be locked away for life. However, arresting someone in violation of their rights is illegal, and the cops should have known better.

Calling cops nazi's from your garage several hundred feet away while they are making an arrest is not obstruction of justice, NA6C, and you should know better than to try to allege that.

It's a bullshit charge that even a second year law student would get thrown out within minutes. The cops escalated a situation they had no business escalating, and to make it worse, it's all on video.

Again, acting like a douche is not illegal. I can call you a, as an example, cocksucker all day long so long as certain criteria are met. And yes, that's douchey - but it's not illegal.

I'm not disagreeing with you that both charges are bullshit. I also know both charges would easily be thrown out, and probably dropped. I do still agree that the cops did the right thing, simply for the guy being such a total douche. Sure, being a douche isn't illegal, but the law doesn't allow the public to kick the ass of the douchiest people out there, so I give the officers some flexibility to do things such as this. If I ever turned into that big of a loud mouth, disrespectful douche, I would hope the cops would kick my door in and beat my ass.

It's a violation of his constitutional rights to be arrested for that. What you are advocating is in contradiction of our constitution.

No one ever gets to say, "Oh, but that violation of his constitutional rights is okay, 'cause I agree with it!" You don't get to pick and choose when they apply - they universally apply, period. I don't disagree that guy needs a swift kick in the ass, because he does. However, cops acting under color of authority do not get to violate his constitutional rights in order to do it.

In doing so, they just handed the guy a blank check for his retarded actions - and you know what? It's just going to encourage the behavior.

Nope not change the law but I expect them to do their job. Waited over an entire hour for state police to show and they never did. I find it funny though, he can give speeding tickets however if it benefits the citizen "it's out of his jurisdiction."

Well... generally if it's out of their jurisdiction... it's out of their jurisdiction. They can't help you, it's a liability to their department and their job could be on the line.

At the end of October this past fall, when we had that freak ice/snow storm, my dad and one of the brazilian guys were coming back from a job in PA. Yeah, PA. Why my dad took a job that far away I have no idea. Why he decided to go to work the day a huge storm was coming is just his "work work work" mentality.

Anyways, he eventually called me saying he was off the main road, lost and just about out of gas. He decided to take the '88 GMC truck (454, 4 speed with a bad clutch, no radio, no defroster, etc etc), while the brazilato took his envoy (heated seats, full of gas, working radio, etc etc). The highway was shut down and my dad detoured off the exit, but ended up in the middle of nowhere.

Back and forth through phone calls (his battery was dying too) I kept in touch with my dad and the other guy, trying to get them to find one another. It wasn't working and I was getting worried. Soon he ran out of gas and was now on the side of the road, 11pm, heavy heavy snow and really cold. My dad is 70 years old and takes medicine that thins his blood, so I was slightly worried about him.

I made the decision to call 911 to reach the local police in that town. I explained the situation and gave them as much detail as I could about my dad and his whereabouts. They gave me the "well, sir, where very busy tonight", blah blah blah speech, but said they would send an officer out in his direction.

More than an hour's time has passed by and my dad said still no police. Although he did say he seen one pass by at one point, but it didn't stop. Thankfully, our guy ended up somehow finding my dad and I think saved his life. He even stopped and was able to get a coffee for him throughout all of this. Such a miracle.

Moral of the story is, that for the first time in my life that I called 911 for an emergency, they completely let me down. Unfortunately for me, both of our cars were crushed by a tree and we had no power, so I was stranded where I was. Otherwise, I would have got in the car and tried to find him my damn self. So in a moment of despair, I called and asked for help.

I have little to no faith in police. They are never there when you need them and only there to catch you when you're in the wrong. I know this doesn't stand true for every single police department in the US, as I'm certain that there's still some good people out there still. Just my own personal experience with trying to get some help in a quite dire situation.

I strongly believe that my dad wouldn't have made it the rest of the night sitting in the truck on the side of the road. I will always thank nene for saving his life.
