My parents had four kids before they were 30. What's wrong with that? If you want lotsa kids, have em early so you're not an old fart when they get older.

yea exactly, your parents did. Our parents all had more children than our current generation.

Except for fucked up people like this chick and that girl who is addicted to pregnancy or some ****. Reality TV has made odd, fucked up **** the in thing. Just like my parents did, I blame TV for the death of my generation.

(PS, you gotta learn about sarcasm man)

I guess that's true... their generation had more kids. Pretty much everyone I grew up with had at leas 2 siblings, and in person I am one of the most sarcastic people you'll ever meet. It just hard to read sarcasm through text on the web...

I've got a kitten hanging around outside my house. It's cute as ****, loves people, and is much cheaper to raise then a human child. Lemmy know if you want it.

Birth control in the Mountain Dew would solve all our problems. I'm only half kidding.

That might be the problem. If they keep ******* and popping kids out, they might not be able to support them all and make sure they are properly taken care of. Of course this can be solved by scientific means (birth control, condoms, vasectomy, etc...) but pope retard the 5th deems these things immoral.

whoa whoa. You are mixing two different things here. I'd watch your language too. Maybe educate your self before you sound like the one that is of less mental capacity.

P.s. i have friends with siblings with mental handicaps I find it funny when they act/speak with more maturity than those "deemed fully capable."

I think what Josh means is that some religious people believe that if they have kids then it is gods will, and "god will provide". That works out great in Africa.

My point exactly. There is a difference between a catholic (or any other religious or non religious person) saying I am open to having kids, and as many as I am giving. But knowing a good time to say hey I will use some type of restraint (NFP and abstinence are accepted ways of Birth control in the church), and someone that just says keep it coming (Like the Duggers on that TV show).

But once again the issue here is not having kids, it is being able to support them and that does not always mean $.

I didn't know the church even allowed sex as a recreational activity. I assume they still frown on premarital sex.

Not seen as recreational, but sex is not seen as a bad thing. Far from it but there is a time and place, in marriage.

I'm not mixing anything. I think I'm more than educated on the subject. Trust me, I'm a stranger on the internet.

Irrelevant. This is the internet. Especially in this thread. I think everyone's I.Q. dropped significantly after watching the video

Pretty much spot on.

Take for example my friend; this friend shall be called "G". G just found out she is pregnant. The guy that knocked her up is a complete joke and will never be there.

Why weren't you on birth control? -"because I can't take that stuff."

What do you mean? Why didn't he wear condoms or something?-"It's against my religion. Children are a blessing and it would be immoral to do anything that would prevent a blessing from god."

No, having children is biology.-"Whatever."

"G" is also broke, unemployed and doesn't have a high school degree. No means of taking care of a child, what so ever. "G" will NOT consider adoption because her parents told her it is immoral to "give your blessing from god away."

But it's cool, I'm sure god will take a break from helping Tim Tebow and help her out some

I completely agree. But young couples in their early 30's aren't doing to just stop having sex because they don't want anymore kids. That's insane.

This idea that some religious groups have about birth control being "the bane of our existence and cause of immorality" is/could be really hurting some families.

Edit: I just LOL'd at the video again. Gas them, gas them all!

I'm really happy that I'm not stricken with a fairy-tale religion that tells me to incessantly reproduce.
