UNITED STATES ex rel. Gerald MAYO v. SATAN AND HIS STAFF
Not exactly current events, but I love this case, wherein a man filed a lawsuit against Satan. The suit was ultimately dismissed as Mayo was unable to provide the court with Satan's home address, thus preventing service of process.
(The court also cited a trial in New Hampshire in which Satan was deemed to be a foreign prince, and therefore outside of the jurisdiction of an American court.)
