No special pricing for us? introductory or otherwise?

EDIT: Please disregard. Just saw the Group buy

therieldeal 07-01-2009 05:32 PM

what are the latency numbers like on your 600cc miata injectors? i've been thinking about going with a 650cc delphi lo-z injector, but then i'd need to run a lo-z injector driver.

JasonC SBB 07-02-2009 05:41 PM

BTW you can send them to AEM and they will plot latency vs. voltage for us all.

Deatschwerks 07-13-2009 12:38 PM

Email Mike@deatschwerks.com, and he can provide you with the latency data

Deatschwerks 04-28-2010 04:41 PM

We still have these injectors offered at this price.

The phone number has changed, though since we moved last year.

or you may order them online, as well.

PS: just in case anyone was wondering, Mike did give me the latency values for their 600cc injectors:

The latency value for the injectors is below. 6v-17v in 1v increments.

3.57 2.87 2.42 2.10 1.88 1.71 1.59 1.47 1.35 1.27 1.19 1.12

Nothing bigger than 600? I need 750.

Not right now...but soon! We are working on a couple of solutions 750cc and higher. Should be available shortly. Send me an email, and I will put you on our contact list.

Chris

Did you have 750cc at one point? I'm pretty sure (hoping) that's what I ordered.

JasonC SBB 05-05-2010 03:09 PM

What injector drivers were used to characterized the voltage vs latency curve?

No injector driver was used. We used a direct trigger on a voltage/current regulated DC power supply.

We had a 750cc, but there were only a handful of sets made and sold. It is possible you have one of the few sets. Do you still have your flow report?

I assume you used a transistor to switch the current into the injector?

To what voltage did you clamp the Drain or Collector of said transistor?

The reason I ask is if you clamped to say, 60V, the latency numbers will come out longer than the AEM which IIRC clamps to ~33V. This would explain why I need around ~900 uS with the AEM at 14V.

The reason for this is that the higher the clamp voltage, the quicker the current decays and the quicker the injectors close, lengthening the apparent opening latency time.

Any chance you guys will be getting in more 750cc injectors?

Deatschwerks 05-07-2010 09:32 AM

We will have 750cc+ sizes available soon!

18psi 05-07-2010 09:34 AM

how soon?
because if its within a month or so I'd be willing to wait, assuming you guys will have 1000cc injectors. If not, I'll have to go with ID1000's.

Deatschwerks 05-07-2010 09:55 AM

We are shooting for early-mid June.

Deatschwerks 05-26-2010 02:59 PM

Still working on the new Miata sizes. We're still shooting for early June! Just a couple of weeks. :)

Sounds good, I'm looking for something in the 750cc+ range.

Rishi 05-27-2010 09:05 AM

I will be watching this thread carefully. Also interested in a 750cc set.

FRT_Fun 06-04-2010 08:21 PM

Big thanks to Deatschwerks for hooking me up big time (and the tshirt :p). Couldn't be happier with their service!

Deatschwerks 06-04-2010 09:00 PM

You are welcome! Glad we could help you out. :)

JasonC SBB 06-05-2010 07:23 PM

I checked my 600cc injector dead time at 14.4V and it's very close to 900 uS with my AEM.

Deatschwerks 06-07-2010 06:19 PM

Jason, I going to PM you David's email address, he'll be able to help you with you question.

TonyV 06-16-2010 10:54 PM

update, it's mid June and yet another likely customer chiming in

FRT_Fun 06-16-2010 11:11 PM

They had a few pre-release 800cc sets a week or so ago so I'm guessing they must be close.

yunvmyegt 06-16-2010 11:51 PM

any 1000s in the near future?

Deatschwerks 06-17-2010 05:01 PM

We have some more 800cc available, PM me for ordering info.
