Anyone know how hard it is to change the orientation of a turbo like this? I have heard that some turbos can easily spin to change, but others not so much. Also, this turbo is a T3/T4 fitting, and all the manifolds i can find are bottom mount, whereas it used to be top mount on my 1.6. The real question i have is, I want to keep my A/C and it looks like a pretty tight fit. Can someone confirm that a bottom mounted T3/T4 mani will fit with A/C?

 

Bottom mount t3/t4 probably wont fit with A/C.

Side mount would, but they never have a good merge collector in the design, top mount manifolds are available for 1.8 Miata, but not off the shelf.
