Have a local guy selling a used turbo set-up off of his crashed 90 miata. I am considering it for my 93.

For $1200 it includes:
Td04l turbo
Custom turbo manifold
Custom down pipe
550cc injectors
Walbro 190 fuel pump
Mega Squirt 2

According to the seller, it has about 200 miles on it running 3psi at first, now 6psi. The turbo was rebuilt prior to install. The manifold is a stock header chopped and modified.

Any thoughts or input are appreciated!

 

Yeah man, i got all the 3psi wastegate actuators waiting here. Buy it for science and posterity.

 

Low boost cause non-intercooled?

That manifold appears to be square tubing. I'm betting the injectors are RC or some crap. Definitely cheap for a reason.

 

It is intercooled. So....is it a decent buy or no? Obviously some things can be swapped out easily enough. I'm super new to turbos, sorry for the ignorance

No. You are only getting an ms2, wally190 and plug wires out of the deal. The rest is doo-doo.
