thanks braineack, i now feel much more confident in going MS, thanks for all your help in washing out the basics...ill get there soon...now lets go get a wideband...any hints anyone?

cjernigan 09-07-2007 10:02 AM

Innovate LC-1 with DB gauge or AEM UEGO gauge type setup.
Both are available from WOT. Innovate products are also available from diyautotune.com. I have the AEM, it works great and is super easy to use. No calibrations needed, it does that itself. The LC-1 needs to be open air calibrated. If you don't want a wideband gauge, get the LC-1, they're cheap with no gauge. Otherwise they're the same price with gauges.

i want the gauge for peace of mind...i dont mind paying for quality...and peaco of mind, ill check them out

ok guys, list is update...
i jumped on braineack's offer to help everyone with the MS and got in line for one, so that is out of the way, only thing im still deciding on is WB...other tahn that im almost there...
what im still missing is to piece together all my lines and for fuel and oil and vac, get an FMIC and route all the pipes and off to tuning...sounds lenghty i know, but i feel like im almost there...feels good!!!

resurrection from the dead...
im at the next step, the MS and WB both arrived today, weired but cool, and i can't wait to go at it and get rid of the damn MAF, unfortunately it has to wait till the first weekend in Nov. unless i get real ballsy and do it this weekend, highly unlikely though :(
I will have questions for sure so looking forward to everyones input
thanks for leading me down the right path so far
Dan

The STI injectors you were planning on have been removed from the approved list. They are too short.

Zabac 10-23-2007 06:39 PM

yeah i know, i have since changed it in this thread, look above, i dont know who, but someone found out the hard way, i was talking to a guy on a local scooby forum about his 550's and almost bought them for $200 with 1K miles on them, great deal at the time, but then i read the thread with the guy that just found out and i stoped the transaction...i wonder who it was, so i can thank them...i am looking for some right now though, either 460 or 550 will do for now
