Another 8mm Inconel stud vendor
For those that:
- don't want to/can't drill and tap for the Trackspeed 10 mm
- Are looking for an alternative to Begi's 8mm
http://www.precisionsports.ca/en/product/inconel-8mm-turbo-studs-60.html?manufacturers_id=2&nshop=bef0743e303b7e21a c1f126dca0b1...
Fairly reasonable (compared to the comp) at roughly 25 bucks a pop.
no affiliation, just stumbled across them when looking for an equally robust solution for my DP hardware. As a result, I cannot confirm the quality of the hardware, though the person I talked to seemed pleasant enough.

FWIW since installing 10mm Inconel studs with Nordlocks holding my turbo on the manifold the joint has been stone reliable all year and I haven’t had to touch it. I never could get it to last much more than one track day before.
Having my downpipe support to the transmission support come loose because the belhousing bolts holding the bracket fell out last week at the track. It resulted in 3 broken studs on the down pipe to turbo flange and a broken bolt on my turbo support after one session though. Guess I need Inconel studs for the downpipe as well. They are 8mm still.

falcon,
I tried researching this myself, didn't have a lot of luck myself. I had the dealer parts guy look up the RB26DETT. He had no way of confirming what the studs were made of. Said the studs were about $20 each and the nuts were about $5 each. If you could find that part number, I'm sure a lot of us here would really appreciate it.
