OP needs these rear-mounted for his pleasure: 2 TURBO JET TURBINE ENGINES GE CJ805 J79 Inconel Aluminum Gold Scrap

Downstream is not rear.

This is downstream:

True equal length design manifold constructed from T304 SS . A very important aspect of the downstream -or low mount- design is that it allows to develop a high flowing 3” downpipe with only two very low angle bends.

This, among other design aspects, greatly contributes to the very quick turbo spool-up and high overall power output. It has been extensively tested and found to yield exceptionally good results.

Isn't that called a downturn manifold, not a downstream manifold? That may be where the confusion is coming from

Krauthammer 02-23-2014 10:55 AM

Since there are no upturn manifolds -that I know off- I called it downstream. In my case I may be a couple of inches lower as needed to achieve perfect equal length runners with as little bending as possible.

spitefulcheerio 02-23-2014 11:17 AM

That sway bar endlink brace used on the pic above is pretty damn smart.

Its called a turn buckle. BEGi kits come with them, but they are located on the bottom of the turbo.
