I'm looking to make 2 weld el manifolds (not log style) and trying to find some carbon steel sch 40 pipe. Wondering if anyone knows a company they can refer me to. Mcmaster wants 17$ a piece; that's just too much.

there's a few others but the two I mentioned seem to be the more popular ones. I'd try to find a local supply shop if I were you though: I have found one and the prices are much cheaper for the same materials simply because they dont have to ship them to you. Google is your friend

 

Hell yeah on acestainless. IIRC, mine were $5.63 each.

 

For $17 i guess you are using the tight radius 90's. I don't know who else has them except mcmaster, but then again I don't really research other vendors. I use mcmaster only because I'm 4 miles from their warehouse so I don't have to pay shipping.
