hehehe

The turbo points the wrong way, you probably can flip it around as the Miata has more space on the side than the GTX the engine came from. You can carefully reclock the compressor housing to have it output more in a direction that is useful, (not 80 degrees pointing towards the valve cover). The water lines are all different, intake manifold is useless for you, and a few other things.

I have a GTX and wouldn't mind getting some of the parts you don't/can't use one you finish the swap. I think that with the engine in the Miata stock and the GTX engine, you have all the parts. Its just a mix and match.

my hosting, my image, my car

Notice the differences in water lines and the turbo direction.

what parts are you after?

i have figured i'm going to need another inlet and exhaust manifolds and have decided to use a megasquirt ecs and j&s knock sensor. found a front mount intercooler etc and a local comapany is making stainless air hoses

i thought about keeping 323 manifold and cutting bonnet to expose the TURBO manifold but not sure if it might not just look daft.

i've already picked up the brake upgrade, managed to get hold of some 2003 vt sport brakes

I have a JDM GTX 1.8 323 motor in my miata... Not sure if the b6t bolts up but the BPT does.

The stock B6T manifold sucks, the special Jap Spec one is rare and too hard to get, not to mention being about 3 inches through a Miata hood. The stock Miata manifold is the best option. If you get a b6t minus intake manifold, I have a spare. It would look pretty *****, to be honest.

Should bolt right up. I have a stroker 1.6L going into a Miata using a b6 SOHC 323 block, n/a capri pistons/rods, and a Miata head. Stroker! Its a wacky engine I got off cragslist a few years back, its seriously weird.

Nah hold up man.. I tried this, and ran into a few problems.
- Conflict between dizzy and firewall
- Turning the turbo round doesn't work, compressor housing conflicts with block. (lowmount manifold)

There could be more, I gave up at that point. you could still modify your firewall, and maybe rework the factory b6t exhaust manifold to hold the turbo at a greater angle..
